Global Sports Company PUMA together with Williams Racing proudly announce the launch of the Williams Racing Kit for the Formula 1 2024 season. The launch took place at the PUMA NYC Flagship Store on February 5th, in tandem with the team’s full Season Launch, introducing the Williams Racing Kit to the streets of New York City and the world. 

The partnership between Williams Racing and PUMA marks the intersection of two illustrious histories in motorsport. Williams Racing, a pioneering force in Formula 1 known for its legacy of victories and technological innovation, joins forces with PUMA, a brand deeply immersed in rich motorsport history.

PUMA and BMW M Motorsport Unveil Iconic Limited-Edition Art Car Capsule Collection by Roy Lichtenstein

Global Sports Company PUMA and BMW M Motorsport are proud to announce their latest collaboration, bringing the world of automotive, art and fashion together. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the legendary artist Roy Lichtenstein, PUMA and BMW M Motorsport are joining forces to pay homage to his enduring legacy. Through a unique capsule collection that marries Lichtenstein's iconic BMW Art Car with PUMA's distinctive style, this collaboration not only commemorates the artist's centenary but also revives the spirit of his groundbreaking work for a new generation of art and fashion enthusiasts. 

In 1977, the third BMW Art Car emerged as an artistic triumph, born from the imaginative genius of the American Pop artist Roy Lichtenstein. This race car, a BMW 320i Turbo, was transformed into a mobile masterpiece, adorned with Lichtenstein's distinctive "Ben-Day dots" artwork. The design gave the illusion of a moving landscape with the sun rising on the one side and setting down on the other referencing the twenty-four hours cycle of the race in Le Mans where the car proved itself in the grueling motorsport arena, achieving 9th place overall and first in its class.

Now, the spirit of that iconic Art Car is reborn in a unique collection that combines the artistry of Roy Lichtenstein with the dynamic essence of PUMA and BMW M Motorsport. This limited-edition capsule is designed to reflect the racing spirit and artistic innovation that have been at the core of the BMW Art Car project for decades. It  pays homage to an artist, who in his practice constantly sought to blur the distinction between high and low art by creating everyday objects from magazine covers and shirts to champagne bottles alongside his famous canvases.

The collection consists of a full outfit, featuring a jacket, pants, tee, cap, and PUMA Suedes, each meticulously crafted to showcase the captivating design elements inspired by Lichtenstein's BMW 320i Turbo Art Car. The visual language of "Ben Day dots" and the vivid color palette come together to create a striking and memorable ensemble.

PUMA BRINGS TOGETHER SCUDERIA FERRARI DRIVERS AND ARTIST JOSHUA VIDES FOR EXCLUSIVE DESIGN WORKSHOP IN LAS VEGAS

Global Sports Company PUMA, hosted a special design workshop featuring Scuderia Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in collaboration with renowned artist Josh Vides. The event unfolded in Las Vegas, home of the 22nd round of the F1 World Championship, where Vides introduced the drivers to his unique artistic technique called "Brushing". 

After a warm-up session, Leclerc and Sainz individually designed their own race suits, drawing inspiration from the iconic Scuderia Ferrari Special Edition race wear, creating personalized memorabilia. Additionally, Josh Vides joined forces with the drivers to craft a third race suit, transforming it into an art piece that encapsulates the intersection of motorsport and contemporary design.

This unprecedented collaboration promises to showcase the intersection of sports, art, and design, providing a rare glimpse into the creative processes of athletes and a celebrated artist. The culmination of the workshop will see the drivers receiving their personalized race suits, turning this event into a unique celebration of creativity and innovation within the partnerhip between Puma and Scuderia Ferrari.
