Your Talent

Education:

  • Education: University Degree in Marketing, Business, or a similar field
  • Diploma in creative design or basic knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator

 Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Retail, Brand Marketing or Merchandising, preferably in the Sports or Fashion industries
  • At least 3 years of people training experience in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear)
  • Sport background in Running/Cycling/Triathlon and/or other cyclical sports
  • Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders and countries/time zones is preferred

Your Mission

Develop, drive and deliver the strategic business plan for the Performance category for the GCC markets. Define long-term and short-term objectives to sustainably grow profitability and market share. Develop and execute locally relevant seasonal cross-functional marketing plan to reach targets from a commercial and brand marketing perspective within the performance category. Specialised in product-driven initiatives for own and partner retail, wholesale customers, and local sports communities, athlete management, sports marketing concepts, with the goal of delivering effective commercial programs that will help PUMA improve reputation and growth in the performance category within the GCC region.

As part of the BU category responsibilities, the  Manager Performance GCC will cover the following: Running, Training and Teamsports.

Sports Marketing

  • Enhance the Performance Category by integrating athletes and local communities into the Key Initiative Programs for the retail staff teams.
  • Lead the day-to-day smooth running of the Sports Marketing function, to help achieve company objectives, as directed by the Head of Marketing.
  • Manage the timely ordering and delivery of products for activities including seeding, photo-shoots and events, ensuring the brand and our latest products are always visible in the market.
  • Build, maintain and leverage strong relationships with athletes and their managers.
  • Support with athlete management and direction onsite at photo-shoots and events.
  • Manage running community activations (Run clubs & Run/Train Athletes).
  • Lead on key running events (on & off season).
  • Develop and implement grassroots (Running Clinics) product launches.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities to support the marketing team (e.g. organising stock, organising meetings, developing reports, updating documents and presentations, and office/stock room housekeeping).
  • Develop strong relationships with internal functions (e.g., Retail, Sales, Merchandising) as well as external agencies (e.g. production and social agencies), to help achieve objectives.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the PUMA business to enable commercial decision-making with regard to player management and activation.
  • Work closely with the Marketing teams to plan and execute creative concepts/ideas for player activations that will benefit our trade partners and drive brand desirability for our products.
  • Lead the brand marketing strategy and on-ground execution for local retail events, lead and execute product test & try events.
  • Identify and represent the brand at the key marathon fairs and running events.

Wholesale (Partners)

  • Drive strategic alignments with Channels and Key Accounts to define priorities and opportunities to maximise the business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Running partners and specialists in GCC.
  • Lead and develop product creditability sessions during sell in period.
  • Dedicated time spent on customer-facing & product selling across the stores of the Wholesale partners.
  • Local retailer event support as well as leading and fulfilling test & try events.
  • Gather market insights and product feedback, sharing regularly with Running BU and GCC Merchandising.

Own and Partner Retail (FPS)

  • Create Key Initiatives for Retail Training in the Performance Category.
  • Deliver specific programs that aim to empower the retail store staff with the necessary tools and skills.
  • Act as the Performance Product Expert within the business that integrates across Retail, Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Work closely with the Retail Training Manager, field operations and P&O teams to identify training needs and tools required to develop the level of store associates’ skills and knowledge.
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing Performance training programs and revise regularly as necessary.
  • Provide monthly sell-out support and conduct in-house product training for the own and partner Retail stores.
  • Dedicate time to customer-facing & product selling across the PUMA and partner Retail stores.
  • Produce and distribute Best Practices for the Performance Category to all retail stores to increase staff knowledge and performance. 
  • Analyse results of training programs, sales results, and KPIs to identify areas of opportunity for development of sales and /or enhanced training.
  • Collaborate with various Regional and International teams for networking and sharing of knowledge.

Your Mission

  • Manage all merchandise/product-related matters pertaining to Apparel, including, but not limited to, Sportstyle and Performance apparel categories.

  • Execute the global and regional merchandising strategy for apparel, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.

  • Define the GCC apparel collection according to corporate and regional targets, and ensure coherence with the regional and global business strategy.

  • Conduct market research on competitors' products, focusing on product offerings, pricing, and trends in the apparel sector.

  • Define pricing strategies at the article level, benchmarking against competitors' similar products to ensure competitiveness.

  • Develop sales forecasts based on historical data, trend analysis, and additional market insights.

  • Analyse sales data, track account buying trends, and forecast future sales volumes to optimize stock levels and assortment.

  • Support wholesale business planning by providing insights and recommendations on assortment and pricing.

  • Finalize buying plans for the GCC market, ensuring alignment with local consumer needs and corporate objectives.

  • Prepare regular reports in line with business requirements and established guidelines, ensuring timely and accurate data.

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities related to customer service and purchasing, including managing cancellations, adjusting orders, maintaining an updated product database, tracking deliveries, performing data entry (IPS), and providing relevant information to sales teams.

  • Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Business

  • Relevant product management experience with top tier international sports or lifestyle brand and/or experience as footwear, apparel or accessories buyer

  • Genuine interest in and liking for football and working with football clubs and teams

  • Manage all merchandise / product related matters pertaining to football clubs and teams (as well as for other teamsports) including, but not limited to, kits customization

  • Work alongside Sports Marketing and Teamsport Sales Manager in managing Clubs from Merch perspective

  • Market research and Competitor Analysis

  • Define prices at article level

  • Propose forecasts based on historical data, trend analysis and other approaches

  • Analyze sales data, account buying trends and forecasting future sales volumes

  • Support wholesale business planning and go-to market process

Experience:

  • 4–6 years in E-Commerce operations, ideally in fashion, sportswear, or consumer goods.

  • Fluency in E-Commerce best practices and technical environment.

  • Must have experience in working with E-Commerce systems such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento or similar.

  • Experience in project management through platform changes, upgrades, testing and integration of new technology, systems or service providers is a plus.

  • Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and managing external development partners.

Your Mission

As Manager E-Commerce Operations, you will lead the operational engine of PUMA’s digital commerce business across various online channels. This role is ideal for a proactive, change-driven leader who thrives on identifying inefficiencies and driving continuous improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution across fulfillment, payments, customer service, inventory synchronization, and order management - while constantly optimizing processes and collaborating with internal teams and external partners, including the web development agency, to support scalable growth and an exceptional customer experience.

Unified E-Commerce Operations

  • Manage daily operations across PUMA.com and marketplace platforms, including order processing, payment handling, returns, and customer service.

  • Ensure real-time stock synchronization across all digital channels to maintain availability and prevent overselling.

  • Oversee the Order Management System (OMS) to ensure accurate order routing, inventory visibility, and timely fulfillment.

  • Support operational setup between marketplace integrators and warehouse systems to ensure smooth order flow and fulfillment.

Process Optimization & Innovation

  • Continuously analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements across logistics, payments, OMS, and customer service.

  • Collaborate closely with the web development agency to implement technical enhancements that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

  • Drive automation and scalability through system upgrades, integrations, and vendor collaboration.

  • Live a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the team and partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with warehousing, merchandising, IT, and finance teams to align operations with business goals.

  • Manage external partners including 3PLs, PSPs, customer service vendors, marketplace platforms, and the web development agency to ensure high performance and accountability.

Customer Experience & Quality Assurance

  • Resolve escalated customer issues (3rd level) with empathy and efficiency.

  • Coordinate testing of new features and platform updates across devices and browsers, ensuring operational readiness and quality.

Performance Monitoring

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time shipment, return rates, and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor OMS and warehouse performance to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

  • Use data insights to inform decision-making and drive operational improvements.
