Your Talent

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, textile engineering or relevant area
  • Experience:
    • Local production and merchandising experience especially in footwear at least 8-10 years
    • Depth knowledge of materials specific to footwear
    • Local apparel production experience is big plus
    • Retail experience
    • Local Market Knowledge
  • Capabilities:
    • Fluency in English
    • Results driven
    • Strong interpersonal skills: written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments as well as outside organizations.
    • Proactive; ability to make decisions without significant management oversight
    • Proficiency in reports, analysis on excel formats
    • Ability to work with multiple systems, departments

Your Mission

Merchandising & Seasonal Line Management

  • Coordinate the seasonal product line, reviewing pricing, margins, in-store dates (ISD), and product segmentation based on historical sales performance and defined targets, ensuring alignment with Global, Regional, and Local strategies.
  • Lead the selection process of footwear styles to be locally produced, contributing to the company’s margin objectives and production strategy.
  • Partner with Sales, Retail, E-commerce, and Marketing teams to structure seasonal initiatives around key products, guiding the Go-to-Market process through line presentations and supporting the management of selected samples each season.
  • Oversee the timely update of pricing and product attributes in the internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and supporting new article creation for purchasing by the Supply team.
  • Control and maintain factory capacity planning, ensuring efficient use of production resources and the smooth flow of deliveries, aligned with sales timelines and demand forecasts.
  • Manage the availability and localization of article images, ensuring they are ready and accessible for the pre-sales process of new seasonal collections.

Local Range Planning & Execution

  • Lead the creation of commercial product assortments for local production, supporting both core range and Speed to Market needs.
  • Manage sampling process including order placement, delivery follow-up, and sample confirmation.
  • Prepare local sales presentations and assist in setting up go-to-market tools post global 360 alignment.
  • Define sales-focused product strategies based on customer demand and sell-through trends.
  • Prepare Range Plans, Forecasts, and Pricing Targets tailored to the commercial calendar and sell-in cycle.
  • Coordinate with PGSA teams to develop local styles and color updates, using tools like Photoshop and Illustrator when needed.
  • Ensure timely sampling for Sales team usage and provide hands-on support with sales presentations and internal showroom setups.
  • Analyze product margins and pricing to ensure commercial competitiveness and profitability.

Cross-Functional Commercial Alignment

  • Facilitate effective communication between Product Development, Sales, and Merchandising to keep all stakeholders aligned on seasonal strategies, priorities, and execution timelines.
  • Act as the central point of coordination to ensure that sales input is considered in product decisions and that product teams are aware of market demands.
  • Ensure that go-to-market readiness (tools, samples, pricing, images) is achieved on time for each selling season.
