Your Talent
- ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant (or equivalent).
- 10+ years post-qualification experience in commercial finance, FP&A, and business partnering within wholesale and DTC.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of influencing business outcomes.
- Experience in sports & fashion sector.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Passion for sports and lifestyle brands
Your Mission
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering
- Lead and empower FP&A and Commercial Finance Managers to take ownership of planning, forecasting, and performance analysis within their respective areas (DTC, WHS, Group).
- Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Retail and Marketing translating financial data into actionable insights.
- Set clear expectations and frameworks for reporting, ensuring consistency across legal entity and management views.
- Act as a strategic escalation point, providing guidance and oversight while enabling managers to lead day-to-day activities.
Planning & Performance
- Ensure top-down targets from Group are effectively translated into local financial plans, with clear alignment to strategic objectives.
- Drive accountability across the business by embedding clear financial targets and performance objectives into operational plans.
- Ensure financial plans remain agile and responsive to market dynamics, supporting informed decision-making across the business.
- Lead the identification and management of risks and opportunities to financial plans, working with direct reports to assess impact and develop mitigation or optimisation strategies.
Financial Planning & Group Liaison
- Act as a key point of contact with Group Finance for all budget submissions and forecast planning cycles.
- Support TH-FC with actual reporting commentary as required, working collaboratively to ensure actuals to plan are fully aligned.
- Ensure consistency and clarity in planning reporting formats, timelines, and financial narratives.
- Ensure planning reporting across the business drives action & decisions based on insight to deliver KPIs
Finance Transformation & Team Leadership
- Support the embedding of the new finance operational model and team, ensuring roles, responsibilities and processes are clearly understood and achieved.
- Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives to strengthen finance capabilities and support business growth.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and rotation opportunities to build well-rounded commercial finance capability.
- Manage, coach and develop the commercial finance team to build capability and drive performance.
- Champion a structured development pathway for Finance Analysts, supporting progression from graduate roles to qualified professionals
- Encourage a positive culture of accountability, continuous improvement and collaboration
