Your Talent
- ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with 5+ years post qualified experience in commercial finance and business partnering.
- Proven track record of supporting Direct to Consumer teams within a consumer brand.
- Strong understanding of DTC profitability and channel dynamics.
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable insight and strategic recommendations.
- Skilled in building and evaluating business cases, with a focus on ROI and commercial impact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to challenge and influence decisions.
- Proficient in Excel and ERP/BI tools.
- Passionate about sports and lifestyle brands, with a commercial mindset and collaborative approach.
Your Mission
Channel FP&A and Reporting
- Own the DTC P&L for reporting and forecasting.
- Lead on all DTC (Stores, E-Com & Marketplace) budget and forecast processes, ensuring alignment with group and local plans.
- Maintain risk and opportunity tracking for DTC performance.
- Support scenario modelling and mid-term planning for DTC.
- Ensure robust planning assumptions embedded into models and bottom-up detail is built by channel and by RBU.
- Support seasonal buy planning and inventory management in collaboration with Merchandising and Demand Planning.
- Deliver monthly reporting and commentary on performance.
- Develop DTC specific dashboards and KPIs to support decision making.
- Lead monthly performance reviews (by area), highlighting risks, opportunities, and actions.
Profitability & Investment Insight
- Build and evaluate business cases for new stores, refurbishments, and marketplace partnerships.
- Track actuals vs. planned investment outcomes and assess ROI.
- Support key retail projects (e.g., payment providers, e-com enhancements) and ensure investments deliver value.
- Drive improved profitability and productivity through cost base analysis.
- Analyse promotional and marketing performance to influence future investment decisions.
- Monitor purchasing budgets and inventory targets to ensure alignment with financial goals.
