PUMA enters the universe of Mr.Doodle to explore it together. PUMA logos and graphics embrace the hand-drawn doodle style while Mr.Doodle making his characters discover the world of sports. The result is a young, vibrant, playful collection with hidden messages and details throughout the design. This collaboration features unisex footwear, apparel, and accessories in mostly black and white pieces, with some hints of orange, purple and lavender.
Sam Cox, an English artist better known as Mr.Doodle, discovered his love of scribbling and doodling at an early age. What started out as usual childhood scribbles on everything from schoolbooks to his parents’ furniture has since evolved into not only a successful career, but an entirely new universe dubbed DoodleWorld. His doodling is often described as “Graffiti Spaghetti”, as his characters and patterns look like they are exploding out of the canvas.

“If doodling were a sport, I think I would have enjoyed P.E. at school,” said Mr.Doodle. “I'm interested in the parallels between sport and doodling, it's all about energy, I think you can feel that sense of movement when you see doodles. There's a connection between doodles and sport.”
The Sky LX Low, RS-2K, Cali Wedge, Leadcat 20 and Mile Rider are given a playful look for the PUMA X Mr.Doodle collection. The RS-2K X Mr.Doodle features embellishments like asymmetric lacing, doodles on the midsole, and a doodle arrow below the laces. The Mile Rider X Mr.Doodle features a sporty mesh upper with colorful overlays and doodle graphics on the midsole.

The apparel in the collection includes a wide range of clothing for both men and women. The PUMA x Mr.Doodle Reversable Coach Jacket is one of the most unique pieces in the collection; it can be worn as a plain black jacket with small doodle embellishments or reversed to become a statement piece with an all-over print of sport-inspired doodles.
Add a touch of doodle to any look with the accessories from the collection. The PUMA x Mr.Doodle Shopper comes in a semi-transparent material with a doodle print all over the front panel and doodle accents on the webbing shoulder straps. It includes a large zip opening into the main compartment with an internal hanging zip pocket for storing smaller items.
Get your PUMA x Mr. Doodle when it drops on August 14th on PUMA.com, PUMA Stores and selected retailers globally.

Sports company PUMA and AC Milan have today unveiled the new AC Milan Away kit to be worn by the men’s, women’s and youth teams for the 2020/21 season. The source of inspiration for the kit is Milan’s famous MUDEC -Museum of Cultures, as PUMA continues to craft kits from culture.
Milan is a city rich with culture and history; it is a city of glamour and creativity, home to some of the world’s most incredible architecture. To celebrate the essence and culture of the city, the new Away kit pays homage to the MUDEC museum by integrating the famous MUDEC architectural pattern into the white jersey.
The MUDEC is a museum and exhibition center dedicated to the research and understanding of the cultures of the world. The museum is home to incredible artistry and cultural artifacts from around the world, providing representation of the diverse cultures from each continent.

“MUDEC was born with the intention of giving voice, through the exhibition of works from all over the world, to the different cultures that have come into contact with Milan and the Milanese over time. It is a source of pride for us that the museum has been identified and selected by PUMA and Milan, not only as a modern icon of the city in transformation, but also and above all as a reference for constant research and attention to multiculturalism and promotion of diversity as founding values of contemporary living”, said Anna Maria Montaldo, Director of Modern and Contemporary Art Sector of the municipality of Milan.
“Throughout the history of AC Milan our second jersey has always been linked with matches and moments that live long in the memory. This jersey succeeds in maintaining the tradition and pride of our Club and its fans, and combines them with the unique blend of culture, passion and design that make the city of Milan so special”, said Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer of AC Milan.

“The city of Milan has always attracted many different cultures and has become the most international city in Italy. For the AC Milan Away kit we wanted to celebrate the cultures that make the city of Milan so unique. The MUDEC Museum of Cultures celebrates international culture, which makes it a great source of inspiration. We used the iconic design from the architecture of this museum to celebrate the diverse cultures from around the world”, said David Bremond, Head of Product Line Management Teamsport, PUMA.
The new jersey is equipped with PUMA's thermoregulation technology which provides an improved moisture management system to maintain the perfect body temperature. The Suede was first worn during the 1968 Summer Olympics, Tommie had his shoes next to him on the podium as he rose his fist, standing up for justice and equality – considered as one of the most iconic and symbolic moments in sporting history. From that day forward, the PUMA Suede became an icon; a shoe made to last for all time.
This year PUMA moves to a new focus and rebirth of the Suede, kicked off with a limited seeding of premium Suedes in honor of the continued legacy of both Tommie and the shoe. Only 307 numbered pairs were created for this exclusive seeding, an homage to Tommie’s number during the Olympics. Each pair includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Tommie Smith with the pair number on both the shoe and certificate. These pairs were made in Italy with the finest premium leathers, materials made to last a lifetime.
"One of the first shoes I wore was the PUMA Suede, I just liked it,” reminisced Tommie Smith on his partnership with the German sports brand. “To me, the historic chapter of the PUMA shoe was the personality of the people that wore it and the notoriety that it brought to me by helping my family out, and now, I'm part of that family – that's why I put it on a high mark."
“I've been with PUMA for over 50 years, because I view that company as a family, and not someone who gave me shoes to run. And the shoes that I ran in you saw on the victory stand, and that was a social positive for me, to run for something that would grow later on in a way that I could help others as PUMA helped me move through that particular difficult time.”
In an interview with Tommie Smith he discusses the meaning behind his symbolic stand, and how a silhouette, like the PUMA Suede, can come to represent more than just a shoe. This is the first in a series of episodes which highlight trailblazers who have made an impact in society and culture. The upcoming episodes will continue to celebrate the decades of cultural heritage forged by the Suede, featuring an exclusive conversation with Walter “Clyde” Frazier.
The PUMA Suede has been an intrinsic part of history, and it will continue to be for all time. Always available on PUMA.com, PUMA stores, and retailers worldwide.
