A trio of PUMA footwear silhouettes appear in the collection, which include the Future Rider, RS-X and the AGF (Active Gaming Footwear). The Future Rider has a casual street style accented with  Cloud9’s vibrant blue color throughout and a lightweight midsole for soft cushioning, while the RS-X boasts a bold and exaggerated silhouette with RS technology (short for Running System) and an ultra-cushioned midsole. 

The Active Gaming Footwear features a sleek design that delivers seamless comfort, support and grip engineered to adapt to different active gaming modes with its sock-like fit.

In 2007 Super Mario Galaxy was released, a title that took Mario out of this world and transported him into deep space. The color palette for the RS-Fast Super Mario Galaxy is a mix of black, purple, white, and metallic silver with a galactic print. Mario’s sidekick, Luma, is clearly noticeable throughout the design.

 An exciting surprise that pays homage to Nintendo’s original console will drop early in December, the Future Rider Nintendo Entertainment System™ shoe will be available in infant, kids, and adult sizes. The grey, red, and black color scheme is a direct nod to the system’s design. The tag on the shoe’s tongue features the cover of the first-ever Super Mario Bros. game. Other fun embellishments include the Power and Reset buttons, and a hangtag shaped like the Classic NES™ Controller.

The Future Rider Super Mario 64, RS-Fast Super Mario Galaxy, and the Clyde and RS-Dreamer Super Mario Sunshine will be available starting Friday, November 27th. The Future Rider Nintendo Entertainment System shoe will be launching globally on Friday, December 4th.

The PUMA x Michael Lau Suede VTG will continue to ride on the theme from his last two iterations of the Suede, taking inspiration from the idea of a “sample” sneaker and the creative process. The zig-zag finishing of fabric samples are stitched on the shoes to create an asymmetrical industrial style that delivers an experimental feeling. The sneakers are bright and give a festive feel with the poppy red color. Other design details include different shades of color on the left and right shoes, which manifests Lau’s deliberate “mismatched colorway” concept.

Lau’s WORTH CAT Figure, inspired by the PUMA Cat logo, will once again be in the limelight of this crossover project. Just like before, sample fabric is the main material in use and the figure is made in red, yellow, white and black versions. A very limited amount of these special edition
figures will be given out for seeding and with purchase in Hong Kong and Taiwan China. Based in Hong Kong, Michael Lau achieved worldwide acclaim for his collectible designer toy figures. Throughout the years, he has continually created timeless art pieces and is crowned as the “godfather of toy figures”.
