Your Talent

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with a design concentration. 

  • 2-4 years of related experience. 

  • Advanced skill level in Illustrator and strong design sensibility. 

  • Skilled at utilizing product data-base development tool (PRM/PDM). 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

  • Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages at the same time. 

  • Knowledge of apparel market, color and trends  

  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally; up to 10% 

Your Mission

  • Design apparel for the Boston-based Regional Creation Center, based upon directives from product management and merchandising, in order to meet the needs of the North American market. 

  • Collect market intelligence, providing all involved with accurate and up-to-date information on design trends and developments. Partner with Team Head of Apparel Design in creation of seasonal category creative direction, trend, and color presentation 

  • Participate in product range-related meetings, such as design, fabric and trims meetings, vendor meetings, factory meetings and fit sessions 

  • Team with Asia-based development offices and local developers in research of fabrications techniques and applications.   

  • Partner with graphic design team to establish seasonal concepts and graphic direction for each range. 

  • Conduct regular store visits to key accounts and competition to ensure thorough knowledge of the marketplace. 

  • Coordinate with garment developers and technical designers to assure fit and styling 

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of detail sheets, CADS, and tech packages based on design time and action calendar  

  • Build presentations and present designs to internal teams 

  • Collaborate with Footwear counterparts to create market-relevant stories and capsules 

  • Partner with Global Sportstyle apparel team and Creative Directors to ensure product reflects Puma’s design DNA

Your Talent

  • University or Art School Degree in Apparel Design, Graphic Design, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant design experience in Golf or Sport apparel design.
  • Ability to build a line from concept to production.
  • High proficiency in apparel product design processes with hands-on design skills.
  • Experience with technical products, fabrics, trims, product development, and quality requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Golf and Global Sport market, including competition, distribution, pricing, product, consumer, and retail environment.
  • Excellent trend and color analysis and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • High proficiency in illustration
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills for conveying seasonal stories and product initiatives.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide highest quality work with tight deadlines.

The Hiring range base pay for this position is $68,640 - $87,140 + Bonus + Benefits

Your Mission

  • Design strong and well-considered Women’s Golf styles for each season, ensuring all tasks within the GTM calendar are completed on time. Maintain accurate setup and upkeep of all articles in the PAC and Creative Share systems.
  • Organize and prepare key meeting tools for Design Reviews and External Meetings.
  • Curate seasonal inspiration and mood boards.
  • Women’s specific style research and development (collaborative with team)
  • Develop new materials and trims as needed.
  • Create in depth trend reports applicable to the Golf business.
  • Attend and lead fittings to ensure the best fit and look of products.
  • Work with Design Director on overall seasonal direction and style development.
  • Work with Tech Team to ensure tech packs are accurate and clear.
  • Work with Graphic Designer on all graphic and digital file needs.
  • Work with PLMs on any required business needs.
  • Work with Development Team to ensure all styes are developed accurately.
  • Work with Cross Category Footwear and Accessories designers to ensure brand cohesion.
  • Travel domestically and internationally for seasonal process management, collection inspiration, trend and market research, and benchmarking.
  • Collect and utilize market intelligence to keep the team informed on design trends, technologies, and developments.
