FROM PUMA WITH LOVE: PUMA AND LONG-TIME PARTNER CARA DELEVINGNE RELEASE COLORFUL COLLECTION FOR PRIDE MONTH
Global sports company PUMA is spreading the message of love and unity alongside PUMA ambassador and LGBTQ+ activist Cara Delevingne with the launch of the From PUMA with Love pack to celebrate Pride Month. The 13-piece pack is made to be worn with pride, featuring vibrant colors, rainbow designs and bold graphics. 20 percent of the proceeds from the collection will be donated to The Cara Delevingne Foundation, a project of the Giving Back Fund, in support of LGBTQ+ charities including GLAAD, The Trevor Project and Mind Out. 

“We are proud to team up with Cara to celebrate Pride Month through this meaningful collection that will benefit LGBTQ+ organizations across the globe,” said Adam Petrick, Global Director of Brand and Marketing at PUMA. “Cara’s active voice as a leader and a member of LGBTQ+ community made her a perfect partner to collaborate with on this pride-inspired project. It’s more important now than ever to support each other and through this collection, it reminds us that we’re always stronger together.”

The collection is inspired by Cara’s passion to show love, hope and kindness toward one another while also giving back to the LGBTQ+ community and its members.

“This collection was designed and created with so much love. I was really looking forward to wearing it at this year’s Pride celebrations that I was planning to attend but, given the circumstances, I can’t wait to wear it and celebrate Pride month from my home via Zoom and FaceTime,“ said Cara Delevingne. “Through my foundation, I am looking forward to making donations to LGBTQ+ organizations around the world who are making such a difference every single day. The LGBTQ+ community deserves to be celebrated and I’m so grateful PUMA partnered with me to create such a prideful collection.”

Throughout June, Cara will celebrate Pride by engaging with fans through several exciting giveaways, surprise digital hangouts and social media activations, which includes teaming up with PUMA, the first brand account to be featured, in TikTok’s #OneCommunity Live programming for a Pride discussion on June 3rd. Streetwear evolution: PUMA x The Hundreds
Sports company PUMA has joined with community-powered streetwear brand The Hundreds to debut a new line of footwear, apparel and accessories. Inspired by the transformation of streetwear over the last three decades, ‘The ‘90s Cliques’ collection features bold graphic-driven pieces with heavy color blocking. Garments can be broken down into four key styles: preppy, jock, party crew and 20/20.

The PUMA x The Hundreds Windbreaker rocks a plaid print that would look at home at any 90’s concert, with a half-zip neckline and welt pockets. For a more contemporary look, try the camo PUMA x The Hundreds Reflective Windbreaker paired with PUMA x The Hundreds Reflective Shorts. Each clique is also present in the collection through an extensive range of unique tees, hoodies, shorts and tracksuits.

 

The 20/20 crew is represented by the RS-Pure x The Hundreds shoe, which merges past and present sneaker trends with a monochromatic black camo print and a suede Formstrip. The new line also incorporates PUMA classics like the Palace Guard, Performer Mid, Clyde and Leadcat, with a look tailored to reflect each clique.

 

Highlights from the accessories collection include the PUMA x The Hundreds Bucket Hat and PUMA x The Hundreds Cap with a flat brim, as well as two takes on the classic streetwear backpack.

California-based The Hundreds was founded in LA in 2003 by Bobby Kim and Ben Shenassafar.It is a classic streetwear brand and a media platform dedicated to global street culture. Their guiding focus, people over product, is also the main force behind the PUMA x The Hundreds collaboration. By exploring the progression of ‘90s street style over time, designers got a chance to create products for the consumer of today as well as tomorrow.

A dual workout to keep the body and mind active while at home

Commemorate Earth Day with PUMA AND First Mile
To commemorate Earth Day, global sports brand PUMA and First Mile have released new styles and colorways of their co-branded collection, made from recycled yarn manufactured from collected plastic bottles. 

In order to raise awareness and drive change towards creating a more sustainable world, PUMA and First Mile launched its first collection in February to support the creation of sustainable jobs, reduce environmental waste and positively impact local communities within the First Mile network.

The second drop of the PUMA x FIRST MILE collection consists of performance shoes, apparel, and accessories. Featuring an exclusive camo pattern, earth tones and a dash of vibrant colors, this collection will not only allow you to perform your best but also look great while doing so.

 

 

“Earth day is an important reminder that we should be looking after our planet and constantly working on bringing our environmental impact in line with planetary boundaries,” said Stefan Seidel, Head of Sustainability for PUMA. “Our strategy is centered on continuously looking for more sustainable alternatives for our key materials and creating maximum positive impact, living up to our code of being Forever Better.”

The RS design is taken it to an extra, thrice-exaggerated form by stripping the silhouette down to the basics then building it up with stronger material mixes and colors inspired by the games we play in our extra time. Pulling from the worlds of fashion and running, PUMA’s Lia takes design cues from the fashion world while its materials and sole are airy and soft for ultra-comfort. The Lia Sheer features semi-translucent hot melt TPU overlays and an elastric strap under the laces that stands out through the translucent textile upper. PUMA’s Lia Sheer is available on PUMA.com from April 1.
