Your mission

PUMA Group is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Global Tax team. This role focuses on managing and supporting day-to-day tax activities related to PUMA Group’s central functions in Germany and abroad. Reporting to the Head of Tax Europe & Central Functions, the position covers operational tax topics and ensures timely, accurate compliance and reporting while supporting the strategic tax agenda led by the Head of Tax Europe & Central Functions.

This means your responsibilties are:

  • Manage and support day-to-day tax matters for PUMA Group’s central functions in Germany and internationally.

  • Coordinate tax compliance activities and provide practical guidance to internal stakeholders on operational tax questions.

  • Work closely with Finance, Accounting, HR and other central functions to collect information, align timelines, and ensure tax deliverables are completed accurately.

  • Monitor relevant tax law changes and communicate impacts to the Head of Tax Europe & Central Functions; support implementation of required process updates.

  • Prepare and/or review tax returns, filings, reports and supporting documentation (including requirements under Global Minimum Tax regulations / Pillar Two, where applicable).

  • Support the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements related to central and group functions, coordinating inputs and ensuring documentation is complete and audit-ready.

  • Act as day-to-day point of contact for tax authorities and external advisors for operational topics; escalate complex matters as needed.

  • Drive continuous improvement of tax processes for central functions (e.g., checklists, timelines, documentation standards) and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Your talent

  • Professional experience of at least 2–3 years in corporate tax or an international advisory firm, ideally with exposure to operational tax compliance and reporting.

  • Strong knowledge of German and international tax laws and regulations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in English and German.

You are part of the Global Tech Infrastructure team and own the full Enterprise Connectivity platform from global WAN and internet lines to SASE, office sites, cloud networking, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and domain management.   • Learn the entire creative design process from first sketch to final product

  • Be responsible for one self-directed, individual projects and support in launching product design ideas in line with specific product strategies

Your mission

Your mission

  • Drive the end-to-end audit lifecycle – including planning, execution, reporting, follow-up - across headquarters, subsidiaries, retail stores, warehouses, and other PUMA entities.

  • Develop and continuously enhance audit methodologies and techniques in line with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) and Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS).

  • Engage in business partnering activities and build constructive dialogue with key senior management by strengthening the control environment and helping to identify and quantify key risks.

  • Collaborate in developing and executing the annual audit plan, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of audit activities and related documentation.

  • Support in enhancing audit efficiency and insights by evaluating and applying data analytics and automation tools, incl. continuous auditing and data mining approaches.

  • Perform ad hoc audit and advisory projects as well as cross-functional initiatives (e.g., internal control, risk management, compliance, loss prevention, IT).

Your talent

  • Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in internal or external audit, risk management, internal controls, or consulting, ideally within the sporting goods, fashion, or FMCG industry.

  • Solid knowledge of Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS) and established professional auditing practices.

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a highly results-oriented mindset and a self-driven, collaborative team approach.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English; additional language proficiency is an asset.

  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CCSA, CPA, or comparable qualifications are a plus.

  • High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.

Additional requirement:

  • Willingness to relocate to our headquarter in Germany.

Your mission

  • Be responsible for your own PUMA direct-to-consumer business with assigned marketplace channels (like Amazon, About You, Decathlon, eBay, OTTO, Zalando)
  • Monitor commercial performance and drive operational actions to achieve commercial targets – primarily Sales and Profitability
  • Leverage data to develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and profitability
  • Drive complex cross functional initiatives across multiple eCom functions – Merchandising, Category Mgmt., Marketing, Content or Operations

Your talent

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant areas
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience in eCommerce, Marketplaces or Digital Industry
  • Knowledge of standard Retail / eCOM processes (Merchandising, Fulfilment, Product onboarding, Customer Service, etc.) and KPIs. Ability to translate business requirements to technical requests
  • Strong analytical skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools is beneficial
  • Ability to gather data and create meaningful analysis or reporting. Provide clear and relevant business requirements to BI analysts to create new / improve existing tools
  • Commercial mindset and ability to effectively prioritize various tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to take own initiatives and work independently on assigned tasks with little guidance as well as accept direction on given assignments
  • Fluent in English, fluency in German or another European language is a plus.
