Your mission
PUMA is seeking a skilled Product Photography Assistant to support ongoing product photography needs. This role is ideal for a student or entry-level professional who is detail‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable working hands‑on with product and studio setups. It's also an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain experience on the forefront of AI image generation capabilities.
Manage the organization of physical product samples which includes unboxing, check in and hanging. (15% of responsibility)
Capture still images of apparel products on mannequins. Must have proficient experience with a professional camera and capability to capture hi-res images with color accuracy and detail. (25% of the role responsibility)
Assist in changing apparel mannequins between products. Mannequins can be bulky and heavy.
Upload image files, rename files based on specific naming convention, and organize within a folder system. Keep track of progress within Microsoft Excel.
Utilizing these images, generate final on-model imagery with ground-breaking AI software. (60% of responsibility) No prior experience in AI image generation needed.
Collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient workflow.
Must follow confidentiality guidelines when working with unreleased products.
Your talent
Must be available to work on‑site in Somerville, MA.
Must be able to work at least 5-30 hours per week, with 2 week advance notice.
Proficient experience operating professional camera
Ability to lift mannequins (often 20–50 lbs.), stand for extended periods of time, and complete repetitive motion tasks (changing garments, adjusting equipment).
Baseline knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work collaboratively with product and operations teams.
Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and organization.
Reliability and professionalism are essential.
The base pay for this position is $28 - $30 per hour + Product Discount.
