Your mission

  • Develop a European media strategy and integrated communication plans for PUMA in line with the Global Brand Comms Strategy, driving ROI, CLV and full-funnel effectiveness  

  • Lead planning and buying of media campaigns across the regional and in the local areas    

  • Develop (online) marketing plans / roadmaps for (digital) activation to increase brand awareness, visibility and support business needs in Europe on a country level  

  • Allocate mktg. budget to media channels, set spending standards based on global frameworks and drive strategic frame for channel budget allocation across the full marketing funnel and channels.   

  • Lead ROI-Analysis and Reserach/Analytics like MMM, across full marketing funnel, incl. Media and non-media channels.  

  • Leverage and adapt global toolkits to regional channel/category specific toolkits   

  • Execute CRM and loyalty on regional level, utilizing global MarTech capabilities for execution  

  • Drive qualified, high-converting traffic via performance marketing e.g. SEA, SEO, Affiliate and CRM and monitorperformance marketing (A/B testing, landing page suggestions, etc.)  

  • Manage agency relationships and ensure campaign delivery, pacing, and optimization   

  • Monitor and create media coverage reports, including the evaluation of the media equivalence value  

  • Identifynew trends, platforms and innovations for technologies and content to drive content and campaign visibility  

  • Lead, build and develop a high-performing Media team  

Your talent

  • Proven professional experience in Media Strategy, Media Planning & Buying, or Integrated Marketing Communications, ideally within a regional or international environment.

  • Demonstrated experience developing regional media strategies aligned with global brand and communication frameworks.

  • Strong experience managing media budgets, including allocation across channels and funnel stages.

  • Hands-on experience with ROI measurement, marketing analytics, and effectiveness modeling (e.g., MMM, performance analysis across media and nonmedia channels).

  • Experience executing and scaling digital marketing and performance marketing activities (e.g., SEA, SEO, Affiliate, CRM).

  • Experience leveraging MarTech and CRM platforms to execute loyalty and customer engagement initiatives.

  • Proven experience managing external agencies (media, performance, analytics) and ensuring delivery, optimization, and governance. 

  • People leadership experience, including building, leading, and developing high performing teams.  

  • Experience working within matrixed organizations and across regional and local market structures. 

  • Ability to translate global brand and communications strategy into impactful regional media strategies. 

  • Strong understanding of full funnel marketing effectiveness, including ROI and CLV drivers. 

  • Proactive identification of new trends, platforms, technologies, and content innovations. 

  • Strong commercial acumen with a clear focus on business impact. 

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to balance brand building and performance outcomes.

Your mission

  • Building and coordinating European PR strategies, tools and frameworks, following global Guidelines and using area expertise and local language execution.  

  • Coordinate the communication with global/regional/local PR teams and serve as internal point of contact 

  • Coordinate with global/regional/local PR teams media events and interviews with key brand assets for global media partnerships and editorial coverage, as needed 

  • Facilitate global/regional/local ambassador coordination and communication with global Business Units, Entertainment and Sports Marketing. 

  • Create and adapt relevant global PR materials into the region, inclusive of press releases, product pitches and internal/external asset activation 

  • Act as a PUMA representative at European/area for press events and activations. 

  • Creating regional Media Comms, global cross-functional Media Monitoring and Press Review Reports. 

  • Organize and facilitate the ordering of seasonal global PR samples and seeding programs to support the regional and local PR Teams. 

  • Managing regional PR calendar and media outreach tools for the brand based on global PR guidance. 

  • Manage, select and lead regional PR Agency. 

  • Ensure and maximize product coverage in validated PR channels as bases for LLM search and product recommendation.

Your mission

We are looking for a dynamic Sports Marketing leader to shape and execute local strategies that connect deeply with Malaysian consumers through key sports and cultural touchpoints with a focus on driving PUMA’s performance categories, specifically Running and Training, while fostering a strong network of ambassadors, athletes, teams, and federations to establish brand leadership in Malaysia. This role will be pivotal in driving strategy, establishing partnerships, and executing impactful activations that resonate.

The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to lead projects and teams while delivering measurable business results.

Task 1: Develop and Drive the Performance Portfolio Strategy

  • Create and execute integrated marketing and communication plans for the Performance portfolio categories (Run/ Train /Teamsports) that align with Global and SEA marketing seasonal initiatives, ensuring seamless connection to product stories and business goals.
  • Build a robust portfolio of ambassadors, athletes, and teams that amplify category storytelling and enhance PUMA’s reputation as the preferred brand in these categories.
  • Anticipate market trends and consumer behaviors to develop future-forward strategies that keep PUMA competitive and innovative.

Task 2: Agency Collaboration and Partnership Activation

  • Lead and manage relationships with creative, content, PR, and event agencies, ensuring alignment with PUMA’s brand vision and marketing objectives.
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing communication plans, leveraging digital, social, and PR channels to showcase key partnerships and amplify brand visibility.
  • Evaluate agency performance and outputs, providing clear feedback to ensure timely delivery, brand consistency, and campaign effectiveness.

Task 3: Consumer-Focused Activations and Engagement

  • Plan and lead impactful GTM plans for Performance business unit, including events, sponsorships, and community engagements that drive brand visibility and product adoption.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Retail, Wholesales, E-commerce) to integrate activations into broader consumer touchpoints.
  • Oversee the development of creative assets and digital content to amplify storytelling across owned and earned media platforms.

Task 4: Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor the Assistant Manager (Federation & Teamsports), ensuring alignment and seamless execution of football and basketball portfolios.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align on strategy and access resources, knowledge, and best practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for performance marketing, providing strategic guidance and ensuring high standards of execution across the team.

Task 5: Cross-Functional Collaboration and Strategic Reporting

  • Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Go-To Market and Sales teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and brand messaging.
  • Present reports, campaign insights, and strategic recommendations to Marketing Teamhead, driving informed decisions to refine and enhance performance marketing efforts.
  • Act as the key liaison between local and regional teams, ensuring clear communication, resource alignment, and adherence to global and regional directives.

Your talent

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Sports Management or relevant studied.

Professional: 5-6 years of experience in sports marketing, preferably with a background in running categories. Proven track record in developing and executing strategies that drive engagement and growth.

IT Skills: MS Office (Powerpoint and Excel knowledge is a must).

Language Skills: English and local language.
