Your mission
As Senior Manager Global Retail Store Development, you will lead the planning, development and execution of physical retail environments across PUMA’s global store portfolio. You ensure all assigned projects meet the highest standards in brand expression, functionality, cost efficiency, and scalability, bringing strategic retail concepts to life in best-in-class store experiences worldwide.
Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of global retail projects (new stores, refits, relocations, partner formats)
- Ensure consistent implementation of global retail concepts across all markets
- Manage global project pipelines from feasibility through design development, execution, and handover
- Oversee timelines, budgets, quality standards, and stakeholder alignment across all projects
- Monitor critical milestones and proactively mitigate project risks.
Strategic Development & Optimization
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of PUMA’s retail concepts based on execution learnings
- Support development of global standards, toolkits, and rollout strategies.
Design Translation & Technical Execution
- Support the translation of design concepts into practical, buildable solutions in close collaboration with all stakeholders
- Partner with Retail Concepts, VM, and Design teams to ensure design intent is maintained through execution
- Review and validate architectural drawings, technical packages, and fixture specifications
- Contribute expertise on key elements such as lighting, flooring, façade and wall treatments, as well as materials and finishes
- Create high-quality 3D visualizations of retail projects to bring concepts to life and support decision-making with the ability to deliver fast, accurate, and compelling visuals under tight timelines.
Supplier & Partner Management
- Manage external architects, general contractors, fixture suppliers, and consultants globally
- Ensure vendor performance, cost competitiveness, and quality compliance
- Support sourcing and supplier optimization initiatives.
Cost, Quality & Process Optimization
- Drive value engineering and cost optimization without compromising design intent or brand standards
- Establish and improve store development processes, toolkits, and governance frameworks
- Challenge quotations, specifications, and supplier proposals with a strong commercial mindset.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with:
- Retail Concepts / Design
- Consumer In-Store Experience
- Retail Operations
- Procurement / Sourcing
- Regional / Local Market Teams
- Act as key interface between strategy, design, and physical implementation.
On-Site Execution & Travel
- Ensure strong on-site presence during critical construction phases of Key projects
- Proactively resolve project challenges directly with contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel internationally to support global project delivery.
Your talent
- 5+ years of experience in retail store development, architecture, construction, or project management
- Proven track record delivering global retail rollouts / store networks
- Strong technical understanding of retail construction and fixture development
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and external partners
- Ability to balance design intent with operational and financial realities
- Experience in global / multi-market retail environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced 3D visualization skills to support concept translation and project alignment
- Availability to travel as required.
