Your mission
Puma AI & Machine Learning team is looking for AI Engineer to join in Bangalore HQ. The ideal candidate will work on design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable enterprise level GenAI solutions that drive business impact. The role focuses on translating business problems into scalable GenAI applications such as chatbots, copilots, document intelligence, and decision-support systems.

1. Design, build, and deploy GenAI solutions using LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Hugging Face) and multimodal models (text, images, documents) for enterprise data products/applications.
2. Develop end-to-end AI pipelines including data ingestion, prompt engineering, evaluation and human feedback loop to learn and improve quality of output results.
3. Maintain, optimize, and enhance existing applications for performance and usability.
4. Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases.
5. Implement prompt engineering strategies, prompt templates, and prompt evaluation.
6. Fine-tune LLMs using LoRA, PEFT, or instruction tuning, where required.
Your talent
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex etc.).
- Experience in prompt engineering and evaluation.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures.
- Basic knowledge of cloud services (Databricks, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in building GenAI solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Experience with LLM fine-tuning. Experience with knowledge graphs + GenAI.
- Exposure to enterprise search, document AI, or chatbot platform
Education Qualification:
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science / IT or related fields from one of the premier Institutes
