Your mission

  • This role is an individual contributor level.
  • The Senior Demand and Business Planning Manager will develop the seasonal inventory forecasts for footwear, apparel, and accessories using and creating forecasting tools, analysis, and re-alignment.
  • Responsible to consolidate and communicate the forecast to senior leadership in merchandising, product management, and sales / sales operations
  • Work cross functionally with sales management and merchandising to ensure the inventory forecast is strategically planned to key product initiatives and relevant to distribution plans
  • Be the key stake holder at monthly meetings with finance to review on hand inventory and future forecasted inventory
  • Review and analyze seasonal bookings against forecast / inventory to communicate action plans and provide strategic guidance for future products
  • Work directly with key account managers and sales leaders across the organization to ensure inventory is properly planned in accordance with customer needs
  • Communicate forecasting and replenishment strategies to support channel distribution
  • Responsible for reporting on category bi-monthly inventory purchases in accordance to sourcing guidelines along with Puma regions for global alignment
  • Work directly and closely with procurement to ensure inventory is bought in accordance with Go-To Market plans and submitted on deadlines; must review development sign offs to ensure product launch timelines

Your talent

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in planning, forecasting and/or supply chain management
  • Strong working knowledge of merchandising, forecasting, and retail processes
  • Ability to follow specific direction, adhere to deadlines, address all internal stake holders in a timely manner
  • Naturally entrepreneurial and inquisitive, solution-oriented with the ability to present actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with all internal and external partners
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite.

The hiring range base pay for this position is $82,000-$111,315 + Bonus + Benefits

Your mission

The Planner Wholesale is responsible for managing sales, inventory, and forecasting processes for assigned wholesale accounts or product categories. This role drives in‑season business performance, supports cross‑functional alignment, and ensures account plans meet financial targets for sales, margin, receipts, and inventory. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, detail‑oriented, and comfortable owning the planning process with cross‑functional partners.

Seasonal Planning and Wholesale Forecasting Support

  • Build seasonal, annual, and long‑range sales and inventory plans for assigned accounts/categories.

  • Develop bottom‑up financial forecasts leveraging historical data, current trends, and account needs.

  • Partner with Sales, Merchandising, and insights team to align pre‑season targets, product strategies, and inventory requirements.

  • Create forecast plans that maximize margin, sales, and inventory productivity.

  • Monitor weekly sales, inventory levels, and sell‑through to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Re‑forecast sales, receipts, and inventory based on trend shift throughout the season.

  • Manage franchise, key item and replenishment forecasts and provide guidance to improve accuracy and account sell-through.

Communication & Reporting

  • Analyze business drivers to understand performance by channel, style, door, and other key attributes.

  • Support hindsight and post‑season recaps to influence future planning and buy strategies.

  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for cross‑functional partners and senior management.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Merchandising, Insights and Finance teams.

  • Participate in go‑to‑market milestones and account-facing meetings, providing data‑driven planning insights.

  • Ensure alignment between account needs, product strategies, and internal inventory plans.

  • Communicate proactively about inventory risks, product flow issues, and changes in demand.

Your talent

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Merchandising, or related field.

  • 2–3 years of wholesale planning, retail planning, or inventory management experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, logical formulas).

  • Experience with planning systems, reporting tools, or BI dashboards preferred.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present analysis to cross‑functional teams.

  • Understanding of retail math, forecasting models, and wholesale financial metrics.

The hiring range base pay for this position is $66,300-$83,380 + Bonus + Benefits
