PUMA’s Mexican football club Chivas defeats Moreila in the Copa MX final

Sport As the final whistle blew, the “Estadio Chivas” erupted in an enormous cheer of both joy and relief from the over 40,000 Chivas supporters. PUMA club Chivas and their opponents Moreila, had not been able to score during regular time which headed them straight off to penalty kicks. If you had to give special credit for Chivas’ final triumph to a single player, it would undoubtedly be goalkeeper Miguel Jimenez, who saved three penalties in the shootout, securing the win and the Copa MX title.     PUMA’s Mexican football club Chivas defeats Moreila in the Copa MX final

Weekend Yield? Three Major Football Trophies!

Sport One? – Oh, come on! Two? – Pleeeeaaaase! Three? – Absolutely!   If the number of major victories determines a great football brand, PUMA climbed to the very top of the list last weekend.   While Arsenal F.C. grabbed the English Premier League’s FA Cup, beating Chelsea F.C. 2:1, in London’s Wembley stadium on Saturday night, BVB Borussia Dortmund snatched the German equivalent DFB Pokal in Berlin at the same time, scoring 2:1 against Eintracht Frankfurt. And last but not least,  PUMA’s Mexican Chivas won the 2017 Liga MX Clausura title, taking a 4-3 aggregate victory over Tigres. Weekend Yield? Three Major Football Trophies!

“I’m a girl who loves freestyle ball”

Sport A kick to the football, rolling it behind the legs, a bounce up on the knees, a quick catch and up across the shoulders… The tricks displayed by Lisa Zimouche, a.k.a. Lisa Freestyle, in the videos she posts for her more than 781,000 followers on Instagram can leave you feeling a little dizzy. The 17-year-old, who will soon finish school, is well-known both in social media and in street soccer circles for her skills in Freestyle – the art of performing tricks with a football. Lisa Freestyle lives and breathes the discipline and while she wears sneakers in most of her Instagram shoots and videos, you’ll also catch her freestyling in high heels. Most recently, she’s been showing off in PUMA shoes: Next to other influences from the street football scene such as hip-hop artist MHD, she has officially joined our street roster. “I’m a girl who loves freestyle ball”

Enter the World of Trail Running

Sport I turned up completely unprepared for what was about to happen in my first trail run. As I got out of the car at this event, I felt like the kid on their first day of school who missed the memo on dress code. There were groups of people milling around with hydration backpacks, long compression socks, visors and electrolyte gels. With a handful of half-marathons under my belt, I thought that getting my kilometres up on the road would have put me in good shape. Boy, was I wrong. Can you keep up with your Star? Stefan Kretzschmar

Sport „Different than expected” is the title of his autobiography. More than 20 tattoos, numerous piercings, black, peroxide blond or multi-coloured hair, short or long, and a bold fashion style. “Kretzsche” – as people call him – visibly worked on his reputation as a bully boy throughout his 14-year long career as a professional handball player.
