Your mission

Ecommerce Planning role is responsible for driving the commercial performance of the marketplace channel, owning key financial metrics including sales, margin, and stock efficiency whilst support the Sr planner across the wider business where possible. The role combines trading, planning, and product strategy to deliver sustainable growth, ensuring alignment with broader digital and brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Trading & Planning

 

  • Own and deliver financial KPIs, including sales, margin, and commercial targets.
  • Lead seasonal marketplace planning in collaboration with the Senior Planner, ensuring alignment with the Power On forecasting tool.
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts, adjusting based on performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Create and manage annual trading calendars by account, aligned to brand and commercial plans.
  • Monitor weekly trading performance, identifying bestsellers and underperformance, and take proactive action to optimise stock, margin, and risk.
  • Lead promotional strategy, including markdowns and in-season activity, ensuring alignment with GM targets and accuracy across digital channels.
  • Develop purchasing plans, including size profiling, to support order placement.

 

 

 

Range Planning & Product Strategy

 

  • Build and manage seasonal range plans, ensuring customer relevance and alignment to top-down financial targets (Net Sales, GM%, MD%, Buy Volume, ST%).
  • Contribute to seasonal and in-season range reviews, using historical performance to inform future strategy.
  • Provide support across the wider eCommerce business on category performance, rate of sale (ROS), and seasonal planning together with the Sr Planner.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

 

  • Partner with Wholesale Key Account Managers to ensure alignment of marketplace and wholesale strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Planner to ensure full coverage of the digital business from a planning perspective.
  • Work closely with European teams to deliver a consistent and aligned strategy across UK and EU markets.

Your talent

  • Proven experience in eCommerce merchandising, trading, or digital growth roles, with accountability for revenue, margin, and stock performance.
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with expertise in forecasting, and KPI-driven decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, range planning, pricing strategy, and eCommerce best practices, including site merchandising and product visibility.

Please note that this position is a fixed term position of up to 12 months.
