Drive the footwear product creation of locally relevant Sportstyle products for global market
Ensure the implementation of the Global Brand & BU Direction as well as Regional Strategy into local product strategy
Drive business & product initiatives to elevate the brand and gain market share globally
Drive initiatives to gain & implement consumer, trend and market/business insights
Shape the product strategy with Global BU, Merchandising & Sales for Strategic EU Key Accounts: JD Sports, asos & Footlocker
PEOPLE:
Lead and supervise the Product Line Management Team
Build strong relationships & collaborate with peers in Design, Development, Sourcing, Merchandising & Marketing/Sales
Develop & empower individual team members to excel in their roles
PROCESS:
Ensure excellent local product creation support for global markets given local product & timeline requirements
Overlook entire calendar creation and ensure smooth run of seasonal projects from brief to launch date
Drive initiatives for process improvements and foster efficiencies towards given KPIs: style count, style efficiency, margin, net sales & on-time creation.
Your talent
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance or related experience
Minimum 8 years international apparel product management experience with top tier international sports company, with 5+ years management experience required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Credible knowledge of sportswear/fashion consumer trends and Footwear market/retail dynamics.
General knowledge of international retail environment
Awareness of agile working methods to foster collaboration with key stakeholders in design/development to capture fast lead times
Strong leadership skills. High initiative, high energy, passionate, decisive, eye for detail, confident.
Strong analytical, overall business orientation
Ability to frame and defend an alternative position
Ability to convincingly present category knowledge using PowerPoint and spreadsheets
Up to 30% domestic and international travel required.
