Your mission
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support end-to-end architecture across PUMA’s global DTC technology landscape. In this role, you will ensure scalable, stable, and future-proof architecture decisions across digital and physical touchpoints. You will advise and enable Product and Project Teams by aligning business strategy, product roadmaps, and technology architecture, while ensuring high solution quality, strong non-functional standards, and sustainable platform evolution. Acting as an architectural authority for strategic initiatives, you will help guide the structured evolution and expansion of PUMA’s global technology ecosystem.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Design and own end-to-end solution architectures for strategic initiatives across digital channels, retail systems, core platforms, integrations, and data.
Define architecture artifacts such as high-level architecture diagrams, design documents, data models, and system interaction maps.
Define integration patterns (API-first, event-driven, modular, cloud-native architectures).
Define and validate non-functional requirements including performance, security, scalability, compliance, resilience, and failure handling.
Participate in discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and impact assessments.
Advise squads, lead design reviews, and document key architecture decisions.
Contribute to architecture governance and technology evaluations.
Ensure architectural consistency, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
Collaborate with Platform, DevOps, and SRE teams to ensure operational readiness, scalability, and reliable platform operations.
Act as key interface between Product, Engineering, Delivery, Platform teams, and Management.
Ensure adherence to security standards, data privacy requirements, and regulatory compliance.

8+ years of experience in solution or system architecture within complex IT environments
Experience in DTC, eCommerce, retail, or omnichannel environments
Strong understanding of integration architectures and modern engineering practices
Experience working in global matrix organizations
Strong communicator bridging business and engineering teams
Structured, pragmatic, decision-oriented, and governance-aware working style
Fluent English required; German is a plus.
