PUMA Team Ivory Coast wins Africa Cup of Nations

Sport PUMA Team Ivory Coast has won the Africa Cup of Nations. The Elephants lifted the most important football trophy on the African continent after beating Nigeria in a nail-biting final, with PUMA Player Sébastien Haller scoring the winning goal in the 81st minute to make it 2-1. In front of an ecstatic home crowd in Abidjan, Haller managed to get his toes on the ball, which was crossed in from outside the box, and tapped it past the Nigerian keeper. It is the third time Ivory Coast managed to lift the trophy after 1992 and 2015. Ivory Coast had a difficult start to the tournament, with two defeats in the group stages. However, the team steadily improved in the knock out rounds and managed to rally the home crowd behind the dream of winning the tournament at home. For PUMA, Ivory Coast’s win topped off an amazing event. Not only was it the first time, PUMA and the African federation CAF worked together on an Africa Cup of Nations, PUMA also had six teams playing in the tournament. A great way to show our commitment to football on the continent. From all of us at PUMA, well done Ivory Coast! PUMA Team Ivory Coast wins Africa Cup of Nations

A Victory for Sweden

Sport With a 30 foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole, Mikael Lindberg secured a big win at the Royal Cape Golf Club. Going head to head with South African Ryan van Velzen to claim the title, Mikael led the tournament as he headed into the final round and to victory. 🏆 In a close competition, Lindberg started the final round of the tournament in the lead. After making a mistake on the third hole, he quickly recovered by scoring five birdies in the next seven holes, but was still one stroke behind his competitor. He managed to regain the lead by scoring birdies in the 16th and 17th holes, but unfortunately struggled on the final hole, taking three putts to finish. As a result, both Mikael and Ryan had to return to the 18th tee, where Mikael claimed his victory. The 31-year-old Swede’s victory means he is now second place in the season-long Road to Mallorca Rankings. A Victory for Sweden
