On the heels of announcing her new partnership with PUMA, Dua Lipa is already wearing some of the brand’s classic kicks. Dua sported the PUMA Suede, paired with a stylish look, during her “Studio 2054” show last week.

Dancers wore a mix of classic PUMA footwear, like the Suede, and apparel during the
performance as well. Dua was also seen wearing pieces of PUMA footwear like the RS-X
during rehearsals. Her “Studio 2054” performance gave viewers the chance to stream her
show at home, as she performed live from a warehouse in the UK. She sang a number of her
most popular songs alongside a slew of guest performers, including Kylie Minogue, Elton
John, FKA twigs, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, and more. The show had a record-breaking 5 million
views, surpassing previous streaming numbers of any other artist.

The PUMA Suede has been an intrinsic part of history, and it will continue to be for all

PUMA signs Bulgarian pop star Dara as a brand ambassador

Sports company PUMA has signed Bulgarian singer Dara as a brand ambassador to reach out to young audiences in this important Southeastern European market.

At only 17 years of age, Dara became a household name in her home country when she reached the final of the Bulgarian edition of talent show “X-Factor” in 2015 she was signed by the biggest Bulgarian label – Virginia Records. Since then, she has released a steady stream of hit singles in Bulgaria, including the chart-topping “Thunder”, “K'vo Ne Chu”, “Rodena takava” and “Darbie”.

Her recent song “Mr. Rover” also reached international fame when it was covered by Korean singer KAI.

“PUMA has an amazing product offer from women, which shows confidence and style”, said Dara. “I’m excited to join the many strong women who are already part of the PUMA Family of ambassadors and athletes.”

 

With a large following on social media, Dara is one of the most popular singers in Bulgaria and has become an important influencer for young generations in her country.

For her first photoshoot with PUMA, Dara wore the company’s iconic T7 track jacket in black and the MAYZE sneaker, one of PUMA’s most popular footwear styles for women.

A focus on local relevance is an important part of PUMA’s corporate strategy and its local ambassadors complement its international line-up. Last year, the company signed pop stars Teodora from Serbia and Eleni from Greece.

PUMA AND KOCHÉ DEBUT A COUTURE INSPIRED COLLABORATION CELEBRATING WOMEN IN SPORTS THROUGH A PERFORMANCE ORIENTED CAPSULE COLLECTION

Coming together for the first time this season, PUMA and Paris-based label KOCHÉ are celebrating women at the intersection of fashion and fitness with a collection that offers fresh take on empowered activewear and blurs the lines between performance and lifestyle.

Established by Central Saint Martins graduate Christelle Kocher in 2015, KOCHÉ has quickly become a mainstay in the fashion landscape. The brand is notorious for its unique DNA, based on traditional French know-how and craft, all of it updated through a distinctly modern take on fashion that fosters gender, body shape, social and geographical diversity.

For this collaboration, Christelle Kocher is leading the way, applying her couture knowledge to an activewear-oriented collection. “I am a fashion designer, but I am also a physically active woman. I started doing team sports at 8, competing in handball quite seriously until I was 18”, she says. “Ever since, barely a day passes without me doing some form of physical exercise. I run, box and do yoga. So working with PUMA on this project gave me a unique, challenging opportunity to bring together my fashion expertise and the kind of technical elements necessary to good performance wear.”

 

Daring and versatile, the collection’s design is inspired by timeless staples of feminine fashion, rendered exceptionally comfortable, lightweight and movement-friendly. Spanning 15 different styles, it focuses on body-shaping silhouettes made in recycled performance fabrics including polyester and polyamide, as well as organic cotton. A neo-futuristic palette combines sophisticated shades of black, burgundy, royal blue and cream with colour-shifting reflective treatments.

Elevated sports basics get a couture twist through construction and details: trousers and windbreaker jackets are completed with criss-crossed lacing elements. Tops mimic corsets through strategically placed stitching. Long-sleeve tulle tees bring a sense of delicateness to the silhouette. And leggings are decorated with an embossed lace-inspired motif. Accessories - including a spacious draped gym bag, a running waist bag and two different, classic-cut running shoes - complete the look.

 

“With the PUMA family, we designed these clothes both to help improve performance in exercise and to use as elevated basics mixed with ready-to-wear pieces”, says Christelle Kocher. “Ultimately, though, the collection’s goal is to support women in reclaiming their rightful place in the sports space, and to help motivate them stay active at a time when women are standing out as the movers and shakers in the active industries worldwide.”

Korean Fashion Designer Juun.J Re-Imagines the PUMA Plexus Sneaker

PUMA’s newest collaborator Juun.J re-envisions the newly introduced PUMA Plexus sneaker, a progressive silhouette that signals a new design language.

 

A pioneer of South Korean fashion, Juun.J conveys modernism and structure through his distinct color palette and eye for shapes. Imagined through the lens of Juun.J’s signature aesthetic, the Plexus is disguised under a functional, utility-inspired look that evokes high-end sensibilities.

The Plexus’ distinctive closure and unique lace construction are complemented by a glossy black carabiner fastened to the upper. Void of any prominent logos or graphics, the collaboration features a subtly debossed logo sitting on the heel, and co-branding on the tongue. Juun.J’s shadowy take on the Plexus is completely wrapped in black, from the outsole to the laces, while recycled mesh comprises the shoe’s sock liner.

Sports company PUMA and Nigerian musician Davido have together created a Sportstyle collection, which captures Davido’s philosophy and sends a strong message of supporting others.

The collection are a beautiful mix of Nigerian culture and current trends, and it consists of a tracksuit, t-shirts, shorts, and hats, featuring the vibrant green and white colors of the country's flag. PUMA and Perks and Mini Embark on a Jungle Expedition for SS23

PUMA and Australian independent cult brand Perks and Mini (P.A.M.) present the second installment of the the PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE project.

Spanning four seasons, the PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE initiative pushes the limits of PUMA’s creative partnerships. This latest installment introduces a collection of technical sportswear infused with the “psyactive” energy Perks and Mini is known for.

For this season the campaign aims to bring to life one of the key themes behind the collaboration: the continued exploration of our biodiverse world. Set in the jungles of North Sumatra, the campaign is an expedition into one of the last remaining wild places. Thaiboy Digital and his paramour Cartoon explore and pay tribute to the beauty and diversity of the jungle as they uncover its hidden portals. The campaign is brought to life with a cast of storytellers, creatives, environmental and data scientists, rangers, and conservationists, who come together to honor this sacred place.

PUMA’S SUPER PUMA MASCOT IS THE HERO OF A PLAYFUL NEW STREETWEAR CAPSULE

Coinciding with the brand’s 75th anniversary this year, PUMA celebrates its beloved mascot, Super PUMA, with a new curated capsule

Super PUMA is the hero of a limited comic book series created by PUMA in the 1970s, that chronicled the adventures of a fearless green cat. Now, the feline protagonist is the inspiration behind the capsule, which includes a plush toy created in collaboration with German toy company Steiff.

 

Taking inspirational cues from Super PUMA’s signature green coat, the new 2023 Super PUMA collection includes three collectible pieces with special packaging and accents that show utmost attention to detail. The Super R698 sneaker is decked out in a textural, fuzzy suede from heel to toe, with mixed Evergreen and Sun Ray Yellow hits on the upper, and a cushioned Trinomic sole unit underneath. PUMA BOLDLY CELEBRATES PRIDE AND DIVERSITY

Global sports company PUMA celebrates the PRIDE community with a round of initiatives and its REFORM platform, which aims to eliminate biases and ensure that everyone who wants to play can play, regardless of their gender, race, or background.

As part of its commitment to inclusivity, PUMA has released a new product line that celebrates PRIDE. The 2023 PRIDE collection showcases PUMA's support for the LGBTQ+ community and its ongoing efforts to promoting advocacy, education, and inclusivity.

Championing the aesthetics of the gay liberation movement of the 1960s, PUMA has created a special mosaic pattern with a handmade look and feel, comprising grassroots iconography and symbols. The iconic PUMA Suede is also redone with elements of the same pattern used on the laces, tongue, heel, and collar of the low-top silhouette. The resulting Downtown PRIDE pattern is used across items like the Downtown PRIDE Tee and Downtown PRIDE Shorts.
