THE NEW PUMA EXTENT, A STREET-TECH SNEAKER INFUSED WITH NITRO™

Today, PUMA introduces its latest sneaker, Extent. Its layered upper is inspired by the brand’s archive of 2000s long-distance running shoes and the midsole features PUMA’s latest NITRO™ foam. Forged at the intersection of performance and style, the PUMA Extent is a street-tech sneaker that is underpinned by advanced foam technology.

The PUMA Extent was created to balance comfort and design, the deconstructed look shows the process of designing and sampling through raw materials and unfinished elements, like the stitched details and utility laces.

The PUMA Extent will arrive in its flagship “Ultraviolet” colorway, accompanied by a suite of further seasonal colorways. Keeping the range exciting, material mixtures differ from one colorway to the next, including the use of neoprene and engineered mesh panels on some versions, while others feature a more classic application of nubuck and suede. The Extent’s NITRO™ sole unit is highlighted by a gradient color scheme on select editions as well. Lastly, the tongue features an inset of PUMA’s jumping cat logo, alongside bold ‘NITRO™’ branding.

The featherweight Extent sneaker is infused with NITRO™ technology, PUMA's newest nitrogen-infused foam created through an innovative new process – making it extremely lightweight, highly springy, and soft.

The PUMA Extent will be available starting October 13th, 2022 on PUMA.com and select retailers.

DESIGN YOUR REALITY WITH SKEPTA AND PUMA RS-X’S “REVOLUTIONARIES”

Together, PUMA and Skepta unlock a world where creativity is truly limitless in the new RS-X campaign.

“Revolutionaries” brings into focus the evolution of the RS franchise, expressed through bold colors, modern details, and high-tech accents. Two revolutionaries in their own rights, Skepta and RS-X unite in a new way that embraces the future and honors the past.

PUMA and Skepta break down the gates of reality, to harness the true potential of the individual, teaching us not only to unlock but to share our power with others. The campaign’s visuals follow the London-based visionary artist as he dismantles and rebuilds the world around him, with the ultimate goal of empowering others, allowing them to master their creativity.

PUMA kicks off its partnership with Skepta and his Big Smoke Corporation, to meaningfully shape music, art, and style culture at PUMA. Inaugurating the collaboration, Skepta becomes the front man of PUMA’s new RS-X “Revolutionaries” campaign.

In cooperation with PUMA’s ambassador, consultant, and designer Skepta, the PUMA RS franchise will start to arrive in early November of 2022, accompanied by further evolutions of the RS to follow in 2023.

“From the moment you wake up, you are designing your world. We are the architects. Creativity is limitless.” -Skepta

Note to editors:

The original RS franchise traces its origins to 1984 when PUMA endeavored to create the world’s first wearable sports product, and the world’s first smart shoe. The RS’ computing ability, application of biomechanics, and new cushioning technology combined to mark a major milestone not just for PUMA, but for the footwear industry at large.
Starting in 2018, the RS family has grown extensively, with the addition of new styles like the RS-X, RS-X3, RS-2K, RS-Fast, RS-Connect, RS-Dreamer, and more. Now for 2022, PUMA continues to build on the RS legacy.

PUMA AND AMI PRESENT CHAPTER 2 OF THEIR COLLABORATION

Parisian house AMI joins PUMA once again in a collaboration that blends outdoors design elements and tailoring know-how, with a campaign fronted by singer-songwriter GIVĒON and model and activist Quannah Chasinghorse.

Inspired by thirst for freedom and exploring new horizons, the collection mixes PUMA’s sportswear heritage and AMI’s flair for tailoring, creating a well-rounded, wintery wardrobe. “I wanted this collection to be a perfect balance between our two worlds,” says Alexandre Mattiussi, Founder and Creative Director of AMI. “The goal was a playful, colourful collection, rich in volume and in extravagant details. It is a new chapter on the story we began developing during our last collaboration. We are now taking things further,” he adds.

“Together, we have been on a journey from wardrobe essentials to cosy, cocoon-like pieces you want to cuddle up with. This season, it is all about softness, oversized volumes, layering and draping with outdoors and hiking-inspired elements, which creates a certain sense of chic, but also a feel-good sensation,” says Heiko Desens, Global Creative Director for PUMA.

With a vibrant palette of bright orange, baby blue, bubble gum pink, moss green and purple offset by neutral beige, cream and brown tones, the collection - which spans 20 different styles across both men’s and womenswear - includes such AMI classics as carrot trousers, straight-line brushed coats, and timeless tees. As well as hoodies and sweatpants, functional fleece jackets with spacious patch pockets, and down jackets. The PUMA x AMI logo - AMI’s signature AMI de Coeur symbol merged with the PUMA stamp - is featured across a range of pieces in the collection.

Shoes remain timeless, with the Rider sneaker offering a knowing nod to 1970’s style. Accessories include a puffy backpack, a cross-body bag, bucket hats, and black-and-white striped beanies and a scarf in true AMI fashion.

“My style is intentional and perfectly curated - this collection feels like it came directly from my closet,” said GIVĒON. “I enjoyed this experience so much, I felt honored that PUMA and AMI chose me to be the face of the campaign, both are amazing brands that align with who I am.”

The global launch campaign was captured by David Paige against the unique landscapes of Pedernales Falls in Texas, featuring GIVĒON and Quannah Chasinghorse. “They both embody a new generation, one that is friendly, cool and carefree,” says Alexandre Mattiussi.

The new PUMA x AMI collection will be available exclusively in AMI stores and amiparis.com starting December 8th, and globally on December 10th on PUMA.com, PUMA stores, and selected retailers.

PUMA Launches First Collaboration with Memphis Depay Clothing’s Blind and Deaf To The World Label

PUMA and Memphis Depay have today launched their first collection in partnership with Memphis’ BADTTW clothing label – the premium sublabel of Memphis Depay Clothing (MDC).

Not only has he been making waves on the pitch, but Memphis also takes his creative spirit and infuses his style into PUMA’s iconic T7 inspired t-shirts, jackets, and track pants. The collection is a fresh new take on classic styles featuring gender neutral colors.

The collection is a representation of Memphis’ love for fashion and passion for helping the next generation. The capsule utilizes blue wash and pristine color tones throughout the ultra-slick garments. PUMA’s jumping cat logo combines with Depay’s BADTTW wordmark with a bespoke graphic created by Memphis that is placed across the back of the t-shirt and jacket.

“I love to express myself and be creative with what I wear. I love that PUMA gives me the platform to be creative and let me do my thing, “said Memphis Depay. “They have given me creative freedom on the iconic T7 tracksuit, which to me is a real honor knowing so many legends have worn it. I love what PUMA brings to the pitch, but a special part of our relationship is being able to work on passion projects outside of football. The BADTTW logo connects with me on many levels: fingers in both ears when I score. Blind and deaf to the world. It strengthens my focus and makes me stronger. I want my brand to convey that. This is the start of numerous exciting projects I have planned with PUMA.”

The PUMA x BADTTW collection is available from December 21st at 9:00am CET at PUMA.com, PUMA stores and at specialist retailers worldwide.

About BADTTW
BADTTW is the premium sublabel of Memphis Depay Clothing. BADTTW or Blind and Deaf To The World, is a nod to Depay’s beloved goal celebration, but also a mentality of focus; tunnel vision, and blocking out negativity. BADTTW serves as a platform to inspire the next generation to follow their dreams and reach their goals. The platform also supports Ghanaian charities helping children with vision and hearing loss.

PUMA AND PEANUTS BRING AN EXCITING NEW COLLECTION TO LIFE

Sports company PUMA teams up with Peanuts for a new line of footwear, apparel, and accessories for adults and kids featuring Charles M. Schulz’s classic characters. The two iconic brands come together to create a fun collection revolving around sport and the Peanuts gang.

Charles M. Schulz first introduced the world to the Peanuts characters in 1950, when the comic strip debuted in seven newspapers. Since then, Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang have made an indelible mark on popular culture. After 70 years and nearly 18,000 comic strips, the Peanuts gang remains a staple in pop culture and still has hearts captured around the globe. Much like Snoopy himself, the PUMA X PEANUTS collaboration is full of character and imagination. It brings with it a sense of nostalgia that could only be achieved by the Peanuts gang.

Classic PUMA styles are adorned with members of the Peanuts gang and scenes from basketball for the adult items in this collection. Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and Woodstock make an appearance on most styles, while Lucy, Linus, and Sally also appear on items like the Women’s Crew Neck and Women's and Men's Tees. The clothing in the collection offers comfy, classic PUMA styles for both men and women in a range of tees, hoodies, and sweatpants. The footwear includes the Future Rider and a basketball classic, the Ralph Sampson. Rounding out the adult items in the range are beanies and a backpack.

The kid's Peanuts collection encompasses the characters playing a wider range of sports, including baseball, soccer and more. In a variety of items for girls and boys, the collection includes items such as hats, backpacks, and classic T7 track suits. Key footwear like the Mirage Mox and Ralph Sampson are available in Junior, Preschool, and Infant sizing.

THE ART OF THE PROCESS: NEW COLLECTION FROM PUMA AND MICHAEL LAU

Sports company PUMA and Hong Kong based artist Michael Lau are partnering together again for his first full collection of footwear, apparel and accessories, inspired by the creation of a product for a “SAMPLE” collection.

Based in Hong Kong, Michael Lau achieved worldwide acclaim for his collectible designer toy figures. Throughout the years, he has continually created timeless art pieces and is crowned as the “godfather of toy figures”. The inspiration behind the PUMA X MICHAEL LAU collection, “SAMPLE,” documents the mental journey of the creator, and expresses the interaction between the artist and the product. When working with PUMA, Michael’s aim is not to merely produce commercial products, rather, he is intrigued by the idea of exploring a concept as it begins from scratch to finally creating a masterpiece. That, he believes, is where the fun lies.

“Please enjoy and make fun out of the process of trial and error,” says Lau. “It may surprise you!” Michael hopes to remind everyone that sometimes mistakes will bring joy. According to his creative experience and understanding, when creating an item, no matter if it’s a figure or apparel or sneakers, the most amusing design may come from the designer or the factory technician’s unintentional mistakes. Facing these accidental miscalculations, most would dump the prototype and revise immediately. Michael, however, gladly embraces these mistakes. He observes the beauty of such “errors” from another angle and weaves these elements into his designs. His artistic perceptions are unveiled in the products for the PUMA X MICHAEL LAU collection.

Collection pieces feature hand-drawn pencil graphics, graph paper textures, and other playful design references, resulting in products with a hand-made inspired look and feel. Prints and details play around the idea of a "work in progress" collection, while graphics inspired by Lau’s figures add a personal touch to the pieces. Many items are adorned with phrases like “Reverse,” “Too Long,” and “Too Small”. These are common words used by factories, which highlights the explorative nature of the "SAMPLE” collection.

Bringing these unique design touches to life, the Mirage Mox features a graph paper inspired print alongside bright pops of color. The Ralph Sampson Mid is adorned with digital prints and mismatched color accents on the laces and tongue. Rounding out the footwear in the collection are similar takes on the Ralph Sampson Lo and RS-2K.

The Two-Face Track Jacket is the standout apparel piece, featuring a unique print with pencil mark graphics in a reversible style with a tall collar. The apparel range includes a variety of items that showcase the concept, like the Knit Pants with '"SAMPLE” patch work and the Women's Pocket Hoodie Dress with a kangaroo pocket on the back. Accessories complete the collection with items like a Flat Brim Cap with a detachable "PUMA SAMPLE STUFF" graphic and a Tote Bag that comes equipped for storage and comfort with unique graphic prints.

Outfit yourself in wearable art when the PUMA x Michael Lau launches on PUMA.com, PUMA stores and select retailers on January 16th.

PUMA AND CARA DELEVINGNE CO-CREATE NEW ECO-CONSCIOUS YOGA COLLECTION

Global sports brand PUMA and international model, actress, and activist Cara Delevingne have co-created Exhale, a new eco-conscious yoga collection.

When designing the Exhale Collection, PUMA made thoughtful decisions around sustainability by using eco-conscious materials, such as at least 70% recycled polyester, and by fully offsetting any unavoidable emissions.

The collection is made for those who want to make a more mindful space – spiritually, mentally, and environmentally, without losing any performance benefits. It includes a high waist full tight, studio bra, knit cover up, crop top, boyfriend-inspired tee, leotard, and a jogger – all in a neutral color palette.

“Yoga is one of my biggest passions, it has impacted my life in such a positive way. When PUMA approached me about partnering to create a yoga line, I was thrilled. We both are very focused on the environment, that is why it was important to design a collection with minimal impact,” said Cara. “This creates a more meaningful impact on our mind, body, and practice; allowing us space for peace and tranquility to simply exhale.”

PUMA is committed to reducing its environmental impact and live up to its code of being “Forever Better”. That is why Cara decided to partner with PUMA to create a performance collection that would combine two of her biggest passions – yoga and the environment.

To offset any unavoidable emissions, PUMA partnered with First Climate, a leading provider of services relating to carbon neutrality, green energy, and water management to purchase credits toward the construction of small-sized biogas plants for rural energy supply, which is used to replace conventional fuels like firewood or coal.

PUMA and Cara’s yoga Exhale Collection will be available starting February 15th, on PUMA.com, PUMA Stores, and selected retailers worldwide.

KIDSUPER BRINGS CREATIVITY TO NEW LEVELS IN LATEST PUMA COLLECTION

PUMA and creative artist collective KidSuper Studios are back for another football-inspired, co-branded collection, which is infused with boundless imagination and continues to explore KidSuper’s artistic and experimental way of thinking.

KidSuper Studios is a homegrown artist collective based in Brooklyn, New York. In 2021, this circle of creatives joins with PUMA for a second season, offering their unique perspectives for a series of unexpected collection pieces. Bringing KidSuper founder Colm Dillane’s artwork to life, PUMA enters the crazy and colorful world of KidSuper, where classics are transformed into never-before-seen designs.

The PUMA x KidSuper Studios second collaboration boasts mix-and-match design elements, experimental prints, and challenges the conventional look of a sneaker. Hook and loop closures, decorative zig-zag stitching, and embroidered branding are complemented by raw edges for a purposefully unfinished look. Inspired by Dillane's unbridled love of football, campaign images were shot with his favorite team and recent Copa Libertadores champions, Brazilian club Palmeiras. PUMA sponsored athletes William, Gabriel Veron, Weverton and Renan serve as the models for the collection.

Painting and sketching graphics handmade by KidSuper are brought to life on the apparel pieces in the collection. Items like the hoodie and puffer jacket have a printed painting. Sketches of a face are made into a camo print on the fleece top and pants.

Possibly the most unique and impressive piece in the collection is the bathrobe. It comes in a red, yellow and white all-over-print with co-branded embroidery on the back with piping on collar edge, cuff and hem. It further features a belt, front pockets, and internal pocket. The football inspiration shines through in items such as the crew neck, adorned with the KidSuper football club logo.

Classic PUMA footwear styles are practically unrecognizable with the transformations in this collection. The RS-2K Slip-on is the standout piece, featuring the same camo inspired face print as the fleece top and pants, with a quilted upper. Mirage Mox and Trailfox Boot get colorful transformations and feature unique aspects like stitched leather pieces on the collar to hold a pencil on the Trailfox and tie dye laces on the Mirage Mox. The Vesuvo offers a more subtle option, with a white leather upper and semi-translucent rubber overlay on the heel, KidSuper Studios embroidery on hook and loop straps, and an exposed foam edge on the formstrip and tongue.

Outfit yourself in a work of art when the PUMA x KidSuper collection drops on PUMA.com, PUMA stores and select retailers on March 13th.
