London College of Fashion
London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London is a world-leader in fashion design, media and business education. It encourages students to examine the past and challenge the present, and to have inventive, assertive ideas and the drive to challenge social and political agendas. PUMA is running design projects on different scales. We involved London College of Fashion in a global project (Design Sprint) but also on a Europe level, led by the Marketing team.
Manchester Fashion Institute
Manchester Fashion Institute is a multi-disciplinary partnership at Manchester Metropolitan University, bringing together fashion expertise and talent from across the university, Manchester and the world. It’s an international hub, connecting education, research and enterprise to inspire a unique spirit within the next generation of industry leaders. Manchester Fashion Institute participates in several design projects from PUMA.
Nottingham Trent University
Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has been driving innovation since 1843, making it one of the UK’s most established and renowned creative universities. Nurturing this forward-thinking mentality has won NTU a gold rating for outstanding teaching and learning in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). NTU takes part in design projects organised by PUMA.
Nuremberg Institute of Technology
With over 13,000 students, TH Nuremberg (University of Applied Sciences) is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Germany. As one of the most research-intensive of all Bavarian universities of applied sciences, TH Nuremberg maintains excellent ties with local and international companies, and is an important driver of innovation in the Nuremberg metropolitan area. PUMA and TH Nuremberg cooperate every year with a simulation of a sports company in which students go through the different stages of the product lifecycle.
Polimoda is known worldwide for its encouragement of independent thinking and action, and its combination of business and design. With its strong connections to the fashion industry, it adapts courses to changes as they happen. Considered to be the best fashion institute in Italy and among the top ten in the world, Polimoda balances the know-how of Italian design and production with an international vision. Polimoda cooperates with PUMA in different design projects like the lectures of Torsten Hochstetter, PUMA's Global Creative Director.
ESMT is a Berlin-based young business school founded by 25 leading global companies and institutions to develop global-thinking entrepreneurs who respect the individual. ESMT researches and teaches in three areas of expertise: leadership and social responsibility, management of technology, and European competitiveness. ESTM visits PUMA's Headquarters in Herzogenaurach to get relevant insights about PUMA and the sports industry and at the same time connect the students with alumni.
International School of Management
The International School of Management (ISM) is one of Germany’s best private business schools and continually succeeds in all applicable university rankings. Tomorrow’s leaders are taught in compact and practice-relevant degree programs that prepare them to work in international business enterprises. ISM students visit our Headquarter in Herzogenaurach every year to learn more about Human Resources at PUMA.
HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is a university-level institution and ranks amongst the leading international business schools. It stands out for its excellent teaching, clear research focus, effective knowledge transfer into practice, as well as outstanding student services. HHL pays a visit to PUMA's Headquarters to get more information about PUMA and the sports industry and to connect with alumni and expand their network.
University of Bayreuth
The University of Bayreuth is a young and research-oriented campus university. In 1975, it was one of Germany's first universities to be established with an interdisciplinary founding mission, and it has since become a leader in innovative research and teaching. The study programmes cover the natural sciences, business and economics, law, languages and literature, and cultural studies. PUMA and the University of Bayreuth are working together in a partnership for the Sports Technology course.
Istituto Marangoni can praise itself for the education of four generations of students from 5 continents and for having launched over 45,000 professionals in fashion and design fields. It currently educates 4,000 students per year from 107 countries at its schools located in Milano, Firenze, Paris, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Miami, all international capitals of fashion, design and luxury. Istituto Marangoni engages in design projects actively, like "What will our products look like in 2030?"
CREAPOLE is a French institution of higher education located in Paris. CREAPOLE offers bachelor and master degrees in 7 areas of design: fashion, graphic, product, transportation, interior, 2D/3D animation, game and luxury. CREAPOLE joins in design projects from PUMA, like the challenge to envision how the PUMA products will look like in 2030.
Endicott College is a private institution just 20 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. It delivers high-quality undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs. The state-of-the-art facilities, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a unique hands-on approach to learning create a community of learners who combine theory with practice. 5 Endicott alumni are working at the moment at PUMA North America and since 2004, 40 Endicott students have participated in PUMA's Internship Program. At PUMA, we are always eager to connect with talented students, that's why we also attend Endicott’s on-campus events and Career Fairs.
Founded in 1898, Northeastern is a global, experiential, research university built on a tradition of engagement with the world. Creating a distinctive approach to education and research, Northeastern offers students a powerful education that integrates learning inside and outside of the classroom. Participating in co-op allows to students to be completely immersed in a full-time professional experience for six months. Hiring students who are part of Northeastern’s cooperative program, has provided us a stronger and more successful way to identify and engage with skilled talent and we have been successful in converting co-op students to full-time hires upon graduation.
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is a leading university providing professionally oriented education. Through learning and application of theories and researches, students excel their talents practically. Since 2016, PUMA holds career talks in the campus to reach students from different disciplines. To further strengthen engagement, two students from PolyU worked two months for PUMA on a project creating learning materials about garment manufacturing process to enhance the production knowledge for designers and developers.
National Chengchi University
With over eight decades of history, National Chengchi University (NCCU) is a public higher education institution in Taipei City. It is considered as one of the most prestigious and prominent universities in Taiwan. The partnership between PUMA and NCCU makes our engagement with students possible. Job fairs and campus talks are held regularly and continuously with positive feedback received.
