Your Talent

  • Bachelor degree with focus in Material technologies or Mechanical engineering, science or equivalent education
  • Minimum 5 years experience/expert in the Supervisor footwear Laboratory above , with a strong understanding of Footwear product testing methodologies/standards and laboratory management
  • Expert in Laboratory testing equipment and testing procedure or related quality control roles
  • Understand with footwear materials, construction, and performance requirements. Good quality mindset. Laboratory management. Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
  • Knowledge of testing standards (SATRA, EN, ISO, ASTM) preferred. Familiarity with footwear materials and product testing
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, testing methods, and regulations.
  • Excellent English communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision
  • Good at MS Office

Your Mission

  • Responsible in conducting physical and mechanical testing at the Puma research and development laboratory, maintain it’s laboratory equipment's and machineries with on time calibration and maintenance. Participate in various testing projects to assist internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee and perform physical and mechanical tests according to PUMA’s test methods and standards.
  • Ensure accurate execution of tests, adherence to protocols, and timely completion of results.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues during testing. Document test procedures, observations, and outcomes. Ensure data integrity and traceability for future reference.
  • Assist in various testing projects, including new material evaluations, product development, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (material, design, engineering) to achieve project goals. Provide technical insights and recommendations.
  • Periodic calibrate testing machines and equipment schedule to ensure the right quality. Record laboratory machines/equipment issue history
  • Collaborate with technical staff to troubleshoot equipment issues. Keep the laboratory tidy, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Manage inventory of testing equipment, supplies, and consumables. Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
