Your Talent

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Design or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years graphic, material, color design experience in a consumer product company; ideally footwear experience
  • Competency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. A bonus but not necessary - Keyshot9 or other 3D design tools.
  • Developed skills/knowledge in the areas of: Material and color creation/selection, technical package specification, design for best practices in product function and manufacturing, prototyping and sample creation, manufacturing processes and procedures, design presentation skills, fashion/consumer trends and global market dynamics in footwear.
  • Demonstrated understanding in consumer trends, retail/market/product line dynamics; demonstrated understanding of footwear manufacturing materials and processes.
  • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with an international team located on multiple continents.

Your Mission

  • Work closely with Team Head to create seasonal storytelling material pack by identifying relevant trends in materials, colors and finish to incorporate within our seasonal themes.
  • Create material & color narratives that aligns with the creative direction and execute to the highest level of quality.
  • Responsible for coloring inline footwear on a seasonal basis. Providing color CADs and material maps for these projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Work closely with design and development to develop unique approaches to material, color and finishes specific to RT BU. Have a keen understanding of how materials will finish and execute in color.
  • Work closely with our PLM team to ensure the creation of a cohesive range of product that meets commercial needs while bringing a fresh perspective to the brand. Create and maintain a visual line plan to insure colors merchandise across all product lines, performance and lifestyle.
  • Create/update line art and footwear graphics
  • Provide market research and trend analysis.
  • Prepare design review presentations.
  • Maintain design data base (Creativeshare)
