Your Mission

  • Partner with Design and Material Teams to translate flat sketches into proto samples. 

  • As part of the Development Team, responsible for overall fit and measurement specs, maintaining consistency of fit across product category.  

  • Create Measure Charts from proprietary database, using appropriate Point of Measure standards. 

  • Schedule and manage fit sessions. 

  • Review/measure samples, noting discrepancies to tech packs and measurement deviations. 

  • Process fit comments following established formats via PRM database to our World Cat offices in a timely manner to meet calendar deadlines; requesting fit samples as needed.   

  • Work with Global Tech Team on the maintenance/revisions of fit blocks. 

  • Maintenance of seasonal style binders, including accurate records of fit sessions by style. 

  • Participation in, and support for, department projects as required. 

  • Tracking sample send status / receiving sample shipments. 

  • Proactively look for process efficiencies in our product creation cycle 

  • Collaborate with sourcing team counterparts in Central America, Europe and Far East to establish and foster positive relationships 

    • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, react to urgent requests and self-manage priorities for deadlines.

        Your Talent

        • Associate Degree or higher in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or similar, from a credited school/university. 

        • Minimum of 5 years in technical design/patternmaking within a product development organization required.   

        • Hands on knowledge of sewing, garment construction, pattern making, sizing and grade rules.   Fit experience in Performance product a plus. 

        • Understanding of garment development processes and procedures. 

        • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in various stages at the same time. 

        • Ability to interact professionally with colleagues within team and across diverse cultural backgrounds. 

        • Transparent and open communication. 

        • Effective use of Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office applications; Gerber Accumark a plus. 

        • 10-15% travel required.
