Your Talent

  • Degree in Computer Science or IT related subjects

  • Minimum 5 yrs IT experience project management / infrastructure / systems / management

  • IT, Retail and/or Wholesale experience preferred

  • Strong technical knowledge in MS Windows, Mac, Azure, Office 365 and POS systems (Retail Pro preferred)

  • Project management experience in systems migration and IT Infrastructure projects

  • IT Infrastructure knowledge on network infrastructure (router, switches) implementation experience desirable

  • SAP experience in a project / support / problem solving role

  • Flexible Working Style in a fast moving and international environment

  • High level of analytical and strategic thinking

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

This role would suit someone with a solid foundation in IT and looking to broaden their experience in leading a small team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Through active participation and management of the IT team,  ensure the streamlined operation of the Puma Oceania IT department in alignment with the business objectives of the region.

  • Act as a central solution, development and competence center where the relevant concepts and direction are given. Maintain integrity, security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.

  • Develop, review, and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans.

  • Using Puma standard tools, coordinate, direct, and track IT support related activities for Puma Oceania, it’s local and remote team members and retail store network.  

  • Hold departmental meetings to review strategic goals and initiatives, promote team building and work to provide growth paths for team members.

  • Provide appropriate training for IT support tram members.

  • Support and implement global IT policies, procedures, and best practice as well as appropriate project management. This includes program and operation documentation and user training / support.

  • Maintain a continual improvement process to identify opportunities where IT and technology can improve PUMA Oceania processes and services.
