Your Mission

  • Deliver profitable topline growth & increase market share with PUMA categories in line with global and CE priorities
  • Drive visibility & desirability of the brand; set clear distribution channel goals & expand door penetration
  • Organize the way we go to market in Shoe Chains & Deichmann as well as Motorsports B2B CE. Ensure that your Sales team have a clear understanding of the Brand initiatives and objectives. Drive execution excellence. Drive Sales Team to deliver quantitative and qualitative results.
  • Develop & lead PUMA Shoe Chains & Deichmann as well as Motorsports B2B CE toward success: Share key objectives and deliverables. Lead sales team in planning account management activities. Challenge the team to think out of the box and inspire consumer with newness.
  • Build a strong and competitive SMU range as well as inline range for Deichmann and Shoe Retail, set clear commercial targets and grow PUMA’s footprint
  • Set, maintain and evaluate commercial KPIs. Regular sales reporting and forecasting
  • Act data driven and fact based – use sell-out data wherever possible and foster discussions based on data
  • Establish professional and future driven business relations with defined customers
  • Gather data insights/trends on consumer, product, price, competition, marketing, and distribution process to continuously     ensure long term growth with defined accounts
  • Ensure strong alignment with other functions, particularly Merchandising, Marketing & Finance.

Your Talent

  • Proven track record of (sales) management success
  • Minimum of 8 years Sales and / or Merchandising Experience in the Sport Industry or industry-related, in Sport/Lifestyle Apparel and/or Footwear area
  • Strong leadership, organizational and decision making skills
  • Proven interpersonal, presentation and facilitation abilities to operate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Results oriented
  • Experience of developing strong relationships, communicating across a wide variety of networks
  • Effectively defines, plans, schedules, controls tasks and projects
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the local retail market
  • Keeps up to date with business trends and developments
  • Ability to set up strategic sales plans
