YOUR TALENT (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or related field.

  • 5+ experience in business planning, particularly within wholesale or retail sectors.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel a must.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint a plus.

  • Experience with BI reporting tools, experience with standardized reporting.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and evaluate multiple requests with varying degrees of priority.

  • Limited domestic travel to represent at key account or company meetings.

The Hiring range base pay for this position is $82,000-$116,645 + Bonus + Benefits

(Benefit Summary Corporate)

Your Mission

POSITION OVERVIEW
 

As a Senior Planner Business Wholesale, you will play a pivotal role in driving seasonal planning and budget management initiatives. Collaborating with Sales Management and cross-functional teams, you will develop comprehensive plans with a focus on key account strategies. Your responsibilities include managing business plans to optimize selling and profitability at the retailer level, overseeing sales tracking processes, and conducting trend forecasting. Serving as a key contact for planning communication and meetings, you will review and analyze weekly sell-through data and provide essential wholesale analysis to senior management. Your role extends to managing the wholesale forecast process, ensuring accuracy and effective communication of final forecasts. This is a Hybrid role allowing 2 remote working days.

YOUR MISSION (Responsibilities)

Seasonal Planning and Budget Management:

  • Collaborate with Sales Management and cross-functional teams to develop high level seasonal, annual and long-range plans.

  • Create key account financial plans across multiple categories with collaborated input from wholesales department.

  • Oversee and participate in cross-functional alignment on sales tracking, targeting, trend forecasting, reporting, and seasonal analysis.

  • Lead dynamic wholesale business plans that support current & long-term business ambition Through support of pre-season go-to-market milestones in collaboration with sales team, while driving planning-led initiatives both internally & with account.

  • Manage franchise, key item, and replenishment forecasts and provide guidance to improve accuracy and account sell-through including retailer door analysis.

  • Identify business opportunities and risks in-season against plan and provides actionable recommendations to improve results.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Lead communication and reporting efficacies to continuously improve and maintain established relationships with customers; collecting first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal and external customers and uses it form improvements in product and services.

  • Serve as a key contact for planning communication and seasonal meetings. Lead business planning meetings with external partners.

  • Analyze and provide insights to facilitate internal business review to hindsight brand performance for responsible accounts.

  • Provide wholesale data and analysis to senior management on an ad hoc basis.

  • Analyze complex data and offering strategic solutions for in-season recommendations to drive business growth.

  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from manager, stakeholders, cross functional business leaders, sales representatives, peers, clients, and customers.

Wholesale Forecast Process Management:

  • Building plan and flow product assortments that can address both targeted objectives and account-specific needs while maximizing sales, margin and inventory turn.

  • Collaborate with Sales Management, Merchandising, and Category Supply Planning teams to develop accurate seasonal forecasts.

  • Consolidate and communicate final seasonal forecasts to relevant departments.
