Your Mission

  • The Senior Analyst will be knowledgeable in all aspects of the general software and interfaces in the system from Manhattan WMOS to Exacta WCS
  • Understand the communication flow between systems and can troubleshoot connectivity or data flow issues
  • Will have a working knowledge of all operations processes and how to run the software from a user perspective
  • Will be able to test and install WCS related software and test and install related computer hardware and peripherals
  • Will have the ability to cope data either through network locations or extracting to send to Vendor Support
  • Will have an understanding of computer information systems layout and file directories
  • Will have a working knowledge of data mining using reports and provided tools
  • Will have a thorough understanding of the WCS to be able to troubleshoot and coordinate the correcting of any inoperable parts of the system
  • Will be able to respond to inquiries within the organization and determine if the problem is operational, application, controls, or hardware related and follow the correct path for resolution. If he/she cannot resole the inquiry, contacts the Vendor Technical Support group
  • Be able to provide data from the host system in order to use for testing or analysis
  • Will take the lead on communication for issue resolution
  • Manage when to call Vendor Support and how to communicate issues to support
  • Manager when to log issues and what information is needed
  • Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of application
  • Assist in setup and maintenance of Manhattan WMOS related tasks that affect day to day operations
  • Provide data for analysis in key performance areas
  • Develop a complete understanding of the working and the technology of the system to be able to make recommendations for improvement throughout the system meet changing user requirements
  • Provide assistance in maintaining Puma network infrastructure.  Serve as direct contact person for Corporate-based IT and infrastructure team
  • Play a critical role in Distribution Center projects
  • After hour call support. Shared responsibilities with current team members
  • Willing to take on supervision responsibility for FTZ (Federal Trade Zone) activity

Your Talent

  • Minimum 5 years IT Warehouse Management System experience
  • Ideally Manhattan WMS
  • Knowledge of WCS and automated warehouse controls desired
  • Experience in supporting systems of Material Handling Equipment a plus
  • Experience with Database, SQL, OS, and user support
  • Networking knowledge and the ability to provide Networking assistance to the PUMA Network team
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to be flexible working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
