Your Mission

  • Continuous assessment and improvement of the material portfolio for the assigned business units to meet their needs as well as sustainability targets and quality standards
  • Gather market data and trends as well as monitor social media closely
  • Research into new technologies, seasonal trends, competition and products/market
  • Provide market intelligence to the business to develop new trends and bring newness to the business
  • Responsible for the development process of fabrics and trims
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with Apparel Development, Product Management, Design, Innovation Team, Sourcing and external partners/suppliers, Material Management Team, Technical Team and respective Fabric Developer at Source
  • Provide Development, Product Management and Design with new ideas as well as  technical and commercial expertise
  • Update and maintain the material systems with product specifications
  • Follow up and support global fabric and trim initiatives and projects.

Your Talent

  • Graduate Engineer in Textile / Clothing Technology or similar education
  • At least 5 years of experience in apparel/ materials development in the sports industry
  • Very good knowledge of the product/ material development process
  • Proven project management experience 
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Strong communication skills and cultural awareness
  • Team player
  • Excellent English skills
