This role is responsible for building a profitable Local Asia business. Manage and guide the product process from analysis and product briefing thru go to market (GTM). Develop concepts and products that are Brand, customer and consumer relevant while considering the global differences in culture, lifestyle, trend and evolving consumer tastes. Develop products that meet PUMA’s quality, desirability and sustainability goals in faster way. The PLM collaborates closely with Merchandising, Design, Development, Sourcing ( PGS ) to brief, build, manage and launch all aspects of the seasonal ranges.
- Task 1: Business & Market Analysis: managing the market-and competitor studies on an international level in partnership with Global and Regional Merchandising organizations.
Conduct research key and emerging markets with a focus on building retail, consumer and trend knowledge. Responsible for ongoing research and analysis of style/article count and efficiency, sell-in/thru, competitor and market price and product benchmarking.
- Task 2: Collection Planning and Management Product: Communicate and brief innovative new product ideas for category growth.
Plan product range that delivers statement and price point product, driving volume at acceptable margin and sustainability goals.
Align with merchandising, design and development teams to ensure that the final collection is reflecting the market needs.
- Task 3: Coordination of Collection: Planning and cooperating in the company-wide strategic planning. Coordinating the information flow of all partners in the apparel department
- Task 4: Communication and Presentation: Ensure accurate and timely development. Ensure accurate and timely set up and maintenance of all lines and all required information in the internal system and files.
