The role of Merchandising Manager Footwear is responsible for executing the Area Merchandise function for the Performance, Sportstyle and Kids business segments, in order to achieve the desired results to secure a solid/safe future platform for the longevity and desirability of the Brand.
In addition, supporting the delivery of the Area Financial plan and the Global Brand strategy leading to a maximum sell-through result. Position is Go-to-Market focused in terms of execution and planning.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Drive and execute the Area Product Assortment for your relevant categories in order to align to the overall business strategy whilst achieving the seasonal KPI’s.
Accountable for building and executing an Area (Distribution-Account-Consumer-flow-pricing) relevant category assortments for wholesale and retail.
Drive the overall business strategy for the relevant categories end-to-end in order to achieve the desired business goals.
Follow and execute the seasonal critical path for Merchandising on a seasonal basis.
Execute the Area Merchandising plan to deliver against agreed Area Category Plans/Targets as well as annual personal KPI’s.
Collaborate with other Merchandise Team members, Area Sales, Retail and Marketing teams to coordinate activities against agreed and aligned Financial targets or other Area relevant strategic goals.
Guide and support Key Partner Account implementation in the Area in order to achieve maximum sell-through result and the desired Category mix.
Manage global in-season opportunities outside of regular timelines with fast response.
Be the expert in your respective categories for the Area and understand the wider Global market.
Drive immediate Sales opportunities to the Wholesale business via current stock opportunities and effective promotion.
Feedback on sell-through, product/consumer trends, pricing, competitor information and market conditions at regular intervals and utilize this knowledge to make informed decisions on the Range selections.
