MERCHANDISING MANAGER – TEAMSPORT

Your Mission

  • Define Teamsport collection according to corporate targets and in line with the regional/global business strategy
  • Manage all merchandise/product related matters pertaining to basketball/football clubs and teams (as well as for other teamsports) including, but not limited to, kits customization
  • Responsible for sample selection of Teamsport category
  • Make the correct pricing according to company margin targets
  • Drive revenue growth, allocated efficiently based on sales trends; improve inventory turnover
  • Create and implement scalable planning tools and processes including category/assortment planning, open-to-buy and re-orders
  • Propose forecasts based on historical data, trend analysis and other approaches
  • Analyze sales data, account buying trends and forecasting future sales volumes
  • Support wholesale business planning
  • Partner with sales, retail merchandising, and marketing to guarantee that the seasonal plans align with the company goals and initiatives
  • Present seasonal plans and product assortments to commercial teams, as well as senior management
  • Promote bestselling items in order to maximize profits
  • Maintain relationship with the sourcing office and follow up local production processes
  • Prepare the reports of cost, stock and sales analyzes
  • Keep up with competitors' products and prices
  • Should comply flexible working hours

Your Talent

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing or related field and 4-6 years of experience in the fashion industry
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Relevant product management experience with top tier international sports or lifestyle brand and/or experience as footwear, apparel or accessories buyer (ideally in Teamsport business)
  • Genuine interest in and liking for sports and working with clubs and teams Service-oriented and open personality
  • Ability and willingness to work with a diverse workforce, intercultural understanding
  • Ability to work well under pressure, to handle a variety of tasks at the same time and within a dynamic organization
  • Attention to detail, structured and process-oriented
  • Ability to travel abroad
  • Proven MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
