Your Mission
We are looking for a MERCHANDISER PERFORMANCE & ACCESORIES FOR SOUTHERN EUROPE.
Your key objectives will be: Provide Leadership and Strategic Direction within assigned business segment for the Area Head of Merchandising in order to guide and drive Area Range architecture and Planning for maximum sell-through results, reaching financial targets whilst supporting Regional/Global Brand Strategy. Position is Go-to-Market focused in terms of execution and planning.
Merchandise Strategy / Business Visioning:
- Develops, manages, and operationalizes mid-term strategies for the assigned distribution channels which are critical to the business segment’s success. Identifies key marketplace trends impacting channels and develops strategies to maximize profitability.
- Reviews and edits countries assortments within assigned business segment to optimize the local product efficiency and market opportunity while maximizing brand experience across categories, channels & accounts.
- Use consumer and geographical insight to set targets and sign off range by country & DC channel based on Sales Plan - Brand Direction - Product Flow. Influence and Execute global tools and processes in order to streamline best business practice.
Delivering KPIs:
- Develop and drive execution of Performance categories Global plan to deliver against agreed Area KPIs and objectives, while guiding local implementation in the countries.
- Ensure ACCESSORIES Line to cover Market needs and goals of growths.
- Manage and deliver accurate forecasting within deadlines and targets. Monitor and manage in-season product performance. Resolve pricing issues within assigned business segment and region
X-Functional Alignment:
- Collaborates with Sales/Marketing teams to drive seasonal key product initiatives in the Area and translate assortments into channels and accounts.
- Works closely with Sales to execute flow plans and door strategies in line with specific market needs.
- Adopts regional merchandising plan and refine/tailors for specific channels, key accounts, doors.
Influence Future Product:
- Influence future product architecture through driving a rigorous Area bottom up/top down line planning process to achieve optimum product lines.
- Provide consumer, competitive and distribution qualitative and quantitative feedback as input to Future Brand Strategies.
- Identify and drive new business opportunities in targeted DCs. Key objective is to feed Product team with market and competitive feedback in order for Product team to make informed decisions on how to execute according to market feedback combined with future brand direction/strategy.
