Your Mission

  • Through insight and in-depth knowledge of the industry and the consumer, this position will drive the creation of on-trend and market-right product lines
  • Create and present seasonal product assortments that align with company goals and initiatives by partnering with Sales, Merchandising, Planning/Operations, and Marketing and leveraging market knowledge, consumer insights, trend assessment and financial risk and reward
  • Provide leadership and direction to develop a collaborative working environment with Product Creation and Sales teams by resolving and recommending ways to continually improve processes and the interaction of team members
  • Present seasonal plans and product assortments to Sales partners and senior management at Sales meetings and key retailer meetings
  • Partner with Marketing and Go-To-Market activation teams to develop compelling product assortments and stories that maximize brand perception and market growth across regions
  • Maintain positive open lines of communication with PUMA management, staff and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization

Your Talent

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing or related field and 4-6 years of experience in a Merchandising, Retail, or Product Creation related role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience dealing with multiple projects and deadlines in a cross functional, matrixed work environment
  • Team player with the ability to maintain attention to detail, and effective communication and presentation skills while clearly articulating goals and objectives
  • Experience in account management either in a Sales or Merchandising capacity
  • Ability to travel 40% of time
  • This role is located in Westford, MA but in mid-year 2021, it will transition to our new office building in Assembly Row, Somerville, MA
