Qualifications and Functional Competencies
- Work experience in financial planning and analysis 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- CA or Advanced degree in accounting
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience with creating financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Your Mission
Position Summary & Key Objectives
- To primarily take care of financial reporting and ensuring that the Forecast targets are met
- Responsible for preparing budgets for the company and each department
- Keeping track on operational expenses of the departments
- Managing entire P/L for the company
- Consolidating the estimates and costs for each department and report the numbers to the Global Head Office on a monthly basis
- Managing EBIT of the company Responsible for Purchase Planning and forecasting & projections of the numbers for sales
- Coordinate with the Business Heads to understand the department figures for assigning budgets for key initiatives and day to day operational activities
- Manage working capital of the company by being constantly updated about the operational expenses
- Making decisions regarding the amount of money to be borrowed from banks during budgeting and otherwise, keeping in mind the banking limits
- Renegotiate the interest rates cost on borrowings Controlling extra costs for the company and taking corrective measures if the limit is exceeded
- Providing leadership, development and guidance to the team for the effective management of finances
