Your Mission
- Drive innovation topics independently and progressive forward to deliver sportstyle specific stories per season
- Lead in execution of innovative product design development aimed at continuous design innovation and achieving set goals with the direction of the Teamhead/Creative Director
- Take part in key leadership meetings and support creating a relevant Sportstyle strategy, which can drive the business forward for the upcoming years
- Support the Head of Design/ Senior Team Head/Teamhead during the absence, by providing support to the design team and taking decisions, which are needed to continue with daily business
- Lead by example design team, mentor and coach junior team members on the job
- Proactively identify and screen potential external design candidates
- Independently integrate product and technical developments into product design
- Ensure the quality of products' design content in order to reinforce and strengthen the brand position and generate consumer demand
- Collect market intelligence, providing all involved with accurate and up-to-date information on design trends and developments and utilizes them effectively
- Launch innovative product design ideas in line with specific product strategies
- Develop a close relationship with PGS team and factories
- Enter and update design information in data systems
- Develop seasonal marketing stories in coordination with the overall business unit strategic direction, as well as the Global Brand Management and Global Marketing functions
- Work closely with development, suppliers in Asia and elsewhere to both source, brief in and develop new materials in line with the creative direction and commercial needs
- Work closely with commercial teams (PLM) to ensure that products are commercial, within price targets and meet the brands business needs on a seasonal basis.
