Your Mission

  • Planning all purchasing requests of the company in the field of foreign trade in accordance with company targets and strategies
  • Coordinate with suppliers in case necessary to ensure orders shipments are consistent with in Global Launch and In Store Dates
  • Plan, organize, manage and monitor all import operations processes from suppliers to destinations via ocean/road/air and ensure freight transactions are selected based on company objectives for cost and delivery.
  • Planning and coordinating shipments ensuring optimum cost and on time delivery.
  • 3RD party management, Logistics service provider nomination.
  • Establish close relationships with Global Logistics Teams located in HQ, Origin Logistics Team in Far East and internal customers; sales, merchandising, finance and accounting.  
  • Ensure all product that will be imported has proper classifications and documentation before the product is shipped to Turkey
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective importation of goods in compliance with all applicable customs rules and regulations
  • Coordinate with external parties such as customs brokers, forwarding agents, and logistic providers to maintain and implement standardized international trade procedures and aim to maximize corporate efficiency, minimize regulatory risk, and to execute import & customs best practices 
  • Manage payment transfers to suppliers in coordination with the finance department 
  • Preparing monthly & weekly reports
  • Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes, and practices

Your Talent

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics or related fields
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in diverse positions (preferably in the athletic footwear/apparel industry)
  • Ocean freight transportation operational experience and service knowledge is preferred
  • ERP (SAP) background and Warehouse system experience
  • Knowledgeable of Turkish Import & Export Laws and Customs Regulations
  • Strong personal skills and strong communication skills with fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Excellent analytical skills in using MS Excel
