JUNIOR MANAGER FOREIGN TRADE

Your Mission

  • Ensure all product that will be imported has proper hs classifications and documentation before the product is shipped to Turkey
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective importation of goods in compliance with all applicable customs rules and regulations
  • Coordinate with external parties such as customs brokers, forwarding agents, and logistic providers to maintain and implement standardized international trade procedures and aim to maximize corporate efficiency, minimize regulatory risk, and to execute import & customs best practices 
  • Broker performance management to ensure the shipment timely release and delivery
  • Manage order status and communicate to merchandising, sales, retail, and operations departments effectively and on time 
  • Manage payment transfers to suppliers in coordination with the finance department 
  • Expected to meet or exceed all import financial metrics 
  • Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes, and practices

Your Talent

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics or related fields
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in diverse positions (preferably in the athletic footwear/apparel industry)
  • Knowledgeable of Turkish Import & Export Laws and Customs Regulations
  • Strong personal skills and strong communication skills with fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Excellent analytical skills in using MS Excel
  • Proactive; ability to make decisions without significant management oversight 
  • Must be flexible and comfortable managing multiple priorities, making quick decisions and judgment calls
  • Be a team player and results-oriented 
  • Ability to work independently
