Your Mission

  • As a part of the global material team, act as the GO TO from Material Center for internal and external partners
  • Assist in color approval process and color manual update
  • Support the Senior Manager Technical Material Apparel in testing manual update, including in test data collection and test bench marking
  • Connect to 3rd party test lab for testing report issue and settle
  • Support inhouse test lab accreditation and color accreditation program
  • Maintain the updates for material library
  • Support the material digital app updates
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal cross functional teams to execute system
  • Participate and support any ad hoc, special project assigned by the supervisor
  • Travel is required

Your Talent

  • High Diploma or above in Textile/ Testing, Textile Chemistry/ Textile Coloration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in textile testing and color assessment, preferably in sports, functional fabrics (both knit and woven)
  • Knowledge of textile production, textile testing, color assessment, fabric construction, functional performance properties, fiber and yarn dyeing, printing techniques and finishing processes.
  • Testing laboratory experience is preferable. Knowledge of RSL requirements.
  • Sound organizational, analytical, follow-up and problem-solving skills with attention to details
  • Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (both spoken and written)
  • Good computer skills
  • Able to work independently but also a good team player
