Your Mission

  • Under the direction of the Team Head / Senior Designer, creation of unique color & material styles that address consumer, retailer and company needs on a seasonal file
  • With the guidance of the Team Head, creation/updating of line arts and Footwear graphics
  • Provide market research and design trend analysis
  • Detail specifications through standardized Design packages
  • Support the development of a negotiation and consensus approach with development counterparts to achieve optimum design value and commerciality
  • Enter designs into product management data system
  • Deliver design deliverables in adherence to product creation timeline
  • Collaborate the conceptualization of Key Account Theme Packages: using graphics, color and material applications that are trend relevant
  • Minor updates of CADs to represent changes in construction
  • Understand inline products, strategies and marketing plans with the ability to effectively present with support to internal and external parties if necessary.
  • Prepare design review presentations
  • Creatively apply problem-solving skills with development team in order to achieve successful product outcomes.

Your Talent

  • Minimum 1-year experience within Footwear Design Industry as a Color & Material Designer or related
  • Understanding of color and materials ( leather, textile, woven and non-woven, plastic, print ) regarding impact, use and properties within Footwear sport lifestyle and performance products
  • Competency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Good presentation skills in English
  • Ability to travel and work internationally 20% yearly
  • Excellent organizational skills coupled with a pro-active,  team-based personality
  • Understanding of international fashion/consumer trends and global market dynamics in footwear
  • College/university degree or equivalent in Design, Material, Graphic, Interior Design, Fashion, Apparel & Textile Design or related.
