Your Talent

  • Degree in Law, preferably from a European university and ideally with focus on (Sports) Marketing and/or Licensing Law and/or Intellectual Property Law
  • Eligibility for admission in the Bar Association of your home country;
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in an in-house legal team or in a law firm;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; any additional language skills are considered an advantage;
  • Familiarity/experience within the sports, marketing, licensing, entertainment or fashion industry is a bonus;
  • Highly structured with attention to detail and ability to prioritize;
  • Manage to work towards deadlines and work under pressure;
  • Proactive, professional, positive attitude and capable to collaborate in an international and cross cultural working environment;
  • Flexible, must be willing to travel abroad;
  • Team player who likes to work in a dynamic team with good working atmosphere;

Your Mission

PUMA International Sports Marketing B.V., located in Leusden, The Netherlands, is responsible for the management and administration of PUMA’s international sports marketing partnerships with a focus on teamsport, running, motorsport, golf and the connected licensing activities.

We are looking for a full-time Junior Legal Counsel to join our team, who will be responsible under the guidance of the Senior Legal Counsel as a direct report, to:

  • Draft, analyze, review and counsel in all legal matters in the field of international sports marketing such as (sports) licensing, sports marketing, entertainment, IP as well as intercompany agreements;
  • ensure corporate housekeeping (such us but not limited to compliance monitoring, KYC checks);
  • keep the templates accurate;
  • Provide legal advice and liaise with internal stakeholders;
  • Prepare correspondence with external lawyers;
  • Conduct legal research;
