Your Mission

  • Technical evaluation of pattern, grading, fitting, workmanship and all types of samples. Supporting development team at source on fit / product development.
  • Manage all fitting samples ( Proto, sealing and size set approval ) for fit, measurement and workmanship within the development and OPD calendar time frame.
  • Manage measurement charts in PUMA system. Checking all gradings and approve final measurement chart before bulk production.
  • Review technical packs for accuracy & completeness prior to their distribution.
  • Provide feedback on technical pack accuracy / completeness & enhancements to product developers.
  • Plans and tracks the development schedule of all products to ensure a timely completion based on development calendar.
  • Prepare sample evaluation data on seasonal basis.
  • Attending all fitting sessions together with development team.
  • Provide technical support to product development teams during on- site meetings with factories.
  • Work closely with supplier & quality teams. Visiting periodically factories to review their progress on sampling performance.
  • Attending risk assessment meetings at every stage of garment development.
  • Entering all fitting comments in PUMA system in timely manner within given deadlines.
  • To understand the production process, fabric properties, manage costs and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • On-time approval of seal sample & seal sample hit rate.
  • Product development team coordination.
  • Feedback.
  • Internal, working closely with product development team in Turkey. PLM, designers and QC department. External, working closely with factories and with pattern software & mannequin companies when necessary.
  • Travelling overseas might be required.

Your Talent

  • Graduate in textiles / Clothing or technical institute is preferable.
  • Hands-on computer knowledge ( Knowledge on CAD is an advantage )
  • 3-7 years of experience, major in active wear or performance sportswear, focusing in knit items and all type of jackets ( Seam-seal, laminated, dawn, padded )
  • English is a must.
  • Good communication skill in English, both to PUMA and factory local people.
  • Paper pattern background and grading is essential.
  • Garment construction knowledge is essential.
