Your Mission

  • Assist in the review and audit of import shipments and documentation to ensure accuracy
  • Liaise with Traffic, Warehouse and Procurement departments to expedite in bond movement of freight to the FTZ
  • Audit FTZ admittances for accuracy to Commercial Invoices, completing error resolution reports, correcting admittances and confirming that corrections take place in the ERP system
  • Review any discrepancies between the WMS and FTZ zone management system. Resolve receiving discrepancies and inventory variances through review of records and communication with receiving, procurement and shipping on a daily basis
  • Review accounting records to determine resolution of any cost discrepancies
  • Data analysis/reporting in Excel and Power BI as assigned
  • Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes and practices.

Your Talent

  • Basic understanding of Inventory controls in a high volume distribution center
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form.
  • Detail oriented, with ability to solve problems and deliver required results with minimal supervision
  • Operate Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Willing to take additional levels of responsibility as required.
  • Able to occasionally work extended hours or weekends depending on project needs and seasonal demands.
  • Knowledge of business, accounting, and/or import concepts preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of US Harmonized Tariff System and US Customs regulations preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with JESTA software is preferred
  • High School diploma required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Foreign Trade Zone, Customs Brokerage, Logistics or Inventory experience is helpful
