Your Mission

  • Develop and support advanced ETL and BI analytics solutions using the Microsoft BI stack including SSIS, SSAS Tabular and SQL. 

  • Work with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL and data warehouse processes. 

  • Work closely with other developers and the BI team to define requirements, create documentation and implement technical solutions. 

  • Design and implement data models. 

  • Contribute to and support the DevOps process, estimating development efforts and being an active participant in periodic scrums. 

  • Assist with refactoring efforts and quality reviews to increase process efficiency. 

  • Proactively learn new skills as the need and opportunity arises. 

Your Talent

  • College degree in Computer Science and/or 2-4 years of experience. 

  • Substantial experience and a strong understanding of the following: 

  • ETL/ELT, preferably using SSIS 

  • SQL, both MS SQL Server and Oracle 

  • Data Warehousing using Kimball methodology 

  • Development Lifecycle Management and DevOps 

  • Data in varying formats, such as XML and flat file 

  • Experience with the following beneficial, but not essential: 

  • SSAS Tabular modeling and DAX 

  • SSRS 

  • Power BI 

  • Azure 

  • Data Vault 

  • Erwin Data Modeler and DI Suite 

  • Master Data Management 

  • Retail industry 

  • Experience translating requirements into technical solutions. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and short timelines while maintaining creativity, attention to detail, oral and written communication skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
