Your Mission

  • Work closely with Designer 2 to create seasonal storytelling packs by identifying relevant trends specific for PUMA North America market in color, material, graphics, and finish to incorporate within our seasonal themes.
  • Create color and material narratives that aligns with the creative direction, regional feedback and execute to the highest level of quality.
  • Responsible for creating color and material stories to fulfill and surpass design brief expectations. Providing storyboards, material layouts, color blocking concepts, color CADs and material maps, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.  
  • Keyshot color and material rendering.
  • Assist with story packs and coloring inline footwear on a seasonal basis.
  • Work closely with design and development to develop unique approaches to material, color and finishes specific to RT BU. Have a keen understanding of how materials will finish and execute in color.
  • Work closely with our PLM team to ensure the creation of regional and account specific product that meets commercial needs, while bringing a fresh perspective to the brand.
  • Create seasonal interest graphic, material, and process concepts for development.    
  • Create/update line art and footwear graphics.
  • Organize footwear material swatch, books and boards.
  • Provide seasonal market research and trend analysis.
  • Prepare design review presentations.
  • Maintain design data base (Creative Share)

Your Talent

  • Minimum 4-year College/University degree in Color/Material/Graphic Design or related field.
  • 5 Days per week and/or minimum 32-38 hours per week for a 6-month commitment. In office, not remote.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop), Keyshot, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong drawing, rendering, and presentation skills.
  • A strong eye for detail and refinement.
  • Excellent organizational skills couple with a pro-active, team-based personality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages at the same time.
  • Show self-motivation, maturity, drive and the desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Ability to take direction and be proactive in assisting team members.
  • Show effective project time management.
  • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Acquire and share knowledge/skills
