Utilize global and regional tools, dashboards and utilities to monitor the PUMA North America network, including all cloud / SaaS environments for threats to the security of the regional and global network. Maintain a regional “threat dashboard” for the PNA region, fully aligned with global information security requirements.
Identify, assess and investigate potential and concrete cyber security threats, attack techniques, and cyber security related incidents on behalf of the North American region
Perform tests and assess through available documentation and configuration data all aspects of the corporate data center and application environments to proactively identify weaknesses and risk areas. Deliver reports both verbally and in writing summarizing and prioritizing vulnerabilities of the environment for remediation.
Aligning with the global security organization, document and maintain North American standards for IT security in the form of procedures and work instructions. Make suggestions to IT Leadership relative to regional IT Security Policy matters when appropriate.
Work with the regional and global security and IT teams to address identified vulnerabilities by applying fixes or making configuration changes to maintain a high security standard.
Participate in cyber security incident remediation, including producing situational reports and event post mortem analyses to assess damage caused and to identify opportunities for further security improvements.
Stay current on IT security trends and cyber security related news. Bring relevant information to the attention of IT Leadership for consideration.
