Your Mission
The role is currently located in Westford, MA and in mid-2021, PUMA North America Corporate Headquarters will be moving to Assembly Row - Somerville, MA.
Responsible for the administration of the company’s leave of absence programs in the US and Canada for both Corporate and Retail employees
Ensure all leave requests follow company leave policies and are within compliance under federal and state/provincial guidelines and legislative changes for leave program policies, procedures, plan documents, and benefit summaries; and with the Americans with Disabilities Act (US)
Update Employee leave and pay status in the HRIS system; work closely with payroll to ensure accurate wage payments and application of accrued time
Monitor employee leave periods; identify patterns, issues or concerns and coordinate with employees, departments, People & Organization Management, disability vendors and Legal as necessary
Counsel and educate employees and managers on Leave of Absence policies and procedures
Leverage technology to simplify and streamline internal processes and manage monthly leave and ad hoc reporting
Oversea the provision of administrative services by third parties for leave and disability programs including relationship management with Benefit vendors; partner to resolve issues
Manage electronic availability and distribution of leave and disability information on the local intranet site (SharePoint)
Assist with Workers Compensation cases
