Your Mission

  • Support the creation of short and long term strategies, tactical product executions and innovations that position PUMA as the leader in running/training footwear.
  • Manage product organization and storage in office
  • Learn and manage product system database
  • Assist in creating clear, focused briefs providing product direction and information to the development and design partners.
  • Manage and execute to designated calendar milestones.
  • Generate forecast and sell through reports to help meet category financial and margin targets as set by the corporation.
  • Develop and manage an effective working relationship between merchandising, sales and marketing to effectively plan new product introductions.
  • Work cross-functionally with PUMA Design and Development teams to maintain timelines, execute briefs, and develop positive working relationships.

Your Talent

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance
  • Relevant experience working with companies in the Athletic Specialty, Sporting Goods, or footwear/apparel industry in general.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint to discover analytical insights and convey ideas and opportunities to others.
  • Excellent communication and speaking skills.
  • Credible knowledge of footwear consumer trends and market dynamics.
  • General knowledge of international retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills. High initiative, high energy, passionate, decisive, confident, with an eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical, overall business orientation.
  • Ability to frame and defend an alternative position.
  • General technical product knowledge.
  • Ability to convincingly present category knowledge using PowerPoint and spreadsheet software tools.
  • Able to spot and predict trends based off of knowledge of competitive landscape
